LUSH ADVENT CALENDARS! ---and did someone say only 60 days left until Christmas?!

They are now in stock in our store, with only a small amount left on hand! 25 Full size products including exclusives! These are perfect for you to enjoy over December to celebrate yourself (and maybe Christmas!)

We are happy to say we are looking for the following positions for Christmas this year! We are currently looking for x2 12 hour till/stock assistants, x1 8 hour till/stock assistants, and x1 5.5hr till/stock assistant to help us out during our busiest period of the year!

Contracts begin November 15th and will end December 31st. We are a living wage employer, and you will be looking at £9.50 per hour. This is unlike our usual sales role, and we are looking for new team members who will be able to memorise new information quickly, be able to prioritise stock for shop floor, be confident in cash handling and have a base knowledge of how to use our products. (This will all be trained to you if you are unsure, but be aware the learning curve may be quite steep!) Applications close on October 24th, and all applicants will hear back by the end of day on October 25th if they are successful for the recruitment evening.

We are bringing product making sessions back to our store! 🥰

Booking in for a Build a Product Workshop will include creating a product we sell with one of our team members while learning about the ingredients and ethics that go into our product! Sessions last 20-30 minutes based on the product chosen to make! You have the options of a bath bomb, bubble bar or even a face mask. The item you choose to make, you get to take home!

These sessions are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during our shop opening hours. There is a minimum of 2 people, with a maximum of 8 due to current store capacity. We ask that if you are booking for those aged under 18 that an adult be present (and a maximum of 2 adults in attendance, again due to store capacity!)

Parliament declared a Climate Emergency back in 2019 – but actions haven’t matched their words. An emergency requires strong, decisive action to reverse the climate and ecological crisis - enter the Climate & Ecological Emergency Bill!

The Climate & Ecological Emergency Bill (CEE Bill) has been drafted by scientists, legal experts, ecological economists and environmentalists. The Bill is designed specifically to reverse the climate and ecological breakdown we're facing.

The Bill requires the UK to take responsibility for its fair share of greenhouse gas emissions, to actively restore biodiverse habitats, and to stop damaging our natural world through the production, transportation and disposal of the goods we consume.

Despite Covid restrictions being lifted on Monday 19th July, we will to keeping multiple things for our staff and customers in place.

🟢 A capacity limit remains in place as our shop, for those that know, is the shape and size of a small closet. Till screens will also remain up in place!

🟢We are updating our shop opening hours from the 19th to coincide with the upcoming summer holidays!

🟡For those interested in parties, this will be reviewed closer to September 1st, with separate updates to follow.

🔴 Any abuse of our staff or other customers will absolutely not be tolerated.

Many of our staff have only had one vaccine alongside those who may live with those vulnerable to Covid. Whilst COVID cases remain high and rising in this area we feel that this is the correct decision.

The time has come! We are now hiring for permanent sales staff to join our small team! We've changed it up a bit this go around and you can choose to sign up directly to one of our recruitment evenings, no cvs or cover letters needed. Slots are limited, so sign ups will be on a first come, first serve basis. Form will turn off once maximum slots have been filled.

The deets:
🟢 The positions are part time, 5 hour and 8 hours a week.
