“It’s amazing to see the way they blossom and grow and they become their true authentic self. You can see the growth in that person and you’ve helped them to break the cycle or short period in their lives which was difficult.” - Yasmin, Former SASH Host
Could you be a SASH Host and help support a young person at risk of homelessness? 💚

⚠️ Attention please - Veronica Thorpe needs your help! ⚠️
As we all know, Our Co. and Vonnie in particular have been an avid supporter of Liam Critchett's Next Step from day 1 and this month, Vonnie has set herself a personal challenge of 3,000 squats in the month of February.
All money raised goes towards Liam’s specialist physiotherapy which is currently £14,820 a year - he is learning to walk again after 18 years in a wheelchair following a spinal cancer diagnosis aged 11.
With just over a month left of Our Co. please, please get behind our Queen and her fundraising attempts - help us go out with a bang!
To sponsor her either pop in the shop or you can donate online here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/liam-critchett
Also - please share!!

📣 Important Announcement ❗️
As we look back at everything we’ve achieved this year we feel an enormous sense of pride, even more so knowing that since Our Co started we have raised over £260,000 for various causes in Scarborough, Filey and Whitby!
With that being said, Vonnie, Andrew and the board of trustees have decided that 2024 is time for them to enjoy their well deserved retirement and as such, Our Co. will be closing its doors in March. We want to take this time to thank all of our amazing volunteers and supporters for the last 9 years - we couldn’t have done it without you and whilst we are sorry to be going it’s just the right time.
Until then, it’s business as usual and we are still open (8th January) and accepting donations so please help us go out with a bang and raise some more monies for worthy causes.
This isn’t a decision we’ve made lightly but we are ready to spend more time with our families and hope everyone understands.
Let’s make the next 3 months Our Co’s best yet!
Happy New Year and all the best for a happy and healthy 2024!!! 🎉
❣️
The centre is currently closed so our workers and volunteers can have a well deserved rest. They will be recharged and ready to go when the centre reopens on 2 January 2024. 🙂
A beautiful Christmas thank you from Springhead School for our donation!
🎄❣️
Aaaaand that’s a wrap for 2023 - we are now closed until 4th January 2024 for a well earned Christmas break!
Thank you for your ongoing support and a big thanks especially to our volunteers for all their hard work this year.
We hope you all have a very, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
