It’s going to get spooky at the castle this Halloween…

It’ll be a case of ‘ice ❄️ to see you’ in on the Yorkshire coast this winter as Scarborough gets its own ice rink for the first time!

It’s being provided as part of the Christmas ‘sparkle’ programme of seasonal events taking place across the borough.

The rink will be constructed on North Street car park in Scarborough as a way of attracting residents and visitors into the town centre.

It will be open daily Monday to Saturday from 11am to 8pm and 10am to 7pm on Sundays from 3 December to 2 January 2022.

Tickets will cost £10 for adults and £8 for children (aged four years old or over). Discounts will be available for groups, families and residents of the borough.

We are delighted to support the rink and has been working closely with Scarborough’s Town Team to offer the new attraction.

RRS Sir David Attenborough the new polar research ship is currently undertaking sea trials off Scarborough before going on its first mission to the Antarctic. Pictured off the coast this morning.

Can't see this being advertised anywhere but there are free live shows going on at the open air theatre. Today we had singers, local dance groups, ventriloquist!!! Well worth sharing this and popping down 👍❣️
