Our live Christmas show has now closed, thanks to all the artists who took part. Open today 11-2 with great books on art poetry and local history for sale if you want to treat someone. I’m then closed till about Jan 6th. But in Scarborough till the 27th and could open up if you’re desperate. Happy Christmas.

What a great Saturday! Despite the weather we ended up having 100 visitors see the art exhibition 🥳

One comment in our guestbook said “a very nice surprise as we were walking past. Beautiful and unique artwork!”

Hi if anyone has left anything in the gallery this year could they please come and collect it before Christmas. Examples of left-behind things are:

Open today 11-3 though it will feel very empty without the lovely Blueberry work on the walls. But there are books on art, local history and poetry.
Closed tomorrow but we have a Write for Rights event for Amnesty if you wd like to join us. 1-3. There will be cake.

Our Blueberry exhibition is up and looking great. Mosaics , hangings, prints and pictures and cards all made by these talented young people. So come and support them and local businesses this Christmas. Something for everybody. Open today 11-4.

Setting up the Blueberry exhibition today and tomorrow so actual opening will be Saturday. We have Batik wall hangings, hand painted bags
Christmas crafts and cards, mosaics and of course Gonks! Don’t forget the Gonks.

So looking forward to welcoming the wonderful Blueberry whose exhibition opens at the end of this week.

Many of our service users arrive at SASH after weeks or months of sofa-surfing with limited access to laundry facilities and minimal possessions. Scarborough Lights will launch with a spectacular drone display above Scarborough Castle on 18 November 📢

✨It will be the first time ever that a drone display will have taken place at an English Heritage property.

✨ The display is produced by the excellent team at Flight Shows, one of the leading drone show companies in the UK.

✨ The accompanying text is written by Stephen Joseph Theatre's Nick Lane, with a soundscape created by the Badgers of Bohemia .

✨ The display is a story of what makes Scarborough what it is, told by young Scarborians, proudly, for the whole world to see.

✨ It will be family-friendly and warming food and drink will be available.

🎟️ Tickets for the show are limited and are selling fast.
