After lots of fundraising over the last year, we have finally raised enough money to purchase our own defib. So… HERE IT IS ⭐️⭐️

The health and safety of our staff, parents and children is what’s most important to us so the fact we can offer help just outside our front door is just incredible!! We hope that we can help anyone in need around our local community when in need 🥰

We would like to thank all our parents and people in the community for all the donations ❤️

Today Toddler Moos have created a new area for the children to explore and to use their imagination this summer! Welcome to our Ice Cream Parlour 🍦🍨🐮

This week we have a sensory fun week so we have lots of exciting sensory activities to experience…. We are looking forward to sharing this with you all ♥️🐮✨

Child Safety Week ⛔️🚗🚦
Today we all go out together for a walk around the village and practice our road safety!

🎶 When we walk along the street, we stop, look and listen- when we walk along the street 🎶

We have been trying our own life cycle of a chick and guess what- we have been successful.

Perfect day for Toddlers and Preschool to enjoy their first Forest School Session!

We explored various trays to create our own flowers and bird feeders using all natural resources… 🌟 the children loved getting involved and trying new things….

Finally using various materials we worked together to create our own den!

We are looking forward to our visit to see what else we can make 🌟😍🐮

This week Toddlers moos are focusing on Children’s Interests…

Linking to our parent involvement and what our children enjoy we are providing them with various activities to explore…..🌟

Yesterday we were playing with the dolls and focusing on helping with feeding and changing them.. 👶 🌟 🐮

Today we created our own vehicle station and expanded our learning with the vehicles! 🚗

Also we planted our fruit trees which have arrived for the children to watch grow 😍😍

We are looking forward to showing you more of what we get up to this week! What a fun week 🌟🐮🥰

Today is Earth Day 🌎

Our Toddlers and Preschool children have been talking about how to take care of what’s around them. We then made our own pictures to represent the day⭐️

The sun is out at Maisy Moos…. We are making the most of our outdoor areas… ☀️☀️☀️✨

Toddlers and babies are out in their gardens with various outdoor learning areas to enjoy and explore! ☀️✨💫

We can’t wait for all our gardens to be finished to enjoy this summer!

Toddler moos have enjoyed our nature garden this afternoon! 🌱🌸🌺🌷⭐️

The Flower Pod is up and running and they have helped Annabel with the growing and watering of various fresh flowers! The children helped us to sow Poppy Seeds🌸🌱 We are also starting to grow our own strawberry plants! 🪴 🍓

We are looking forward to seeing these all grow and bloom!

We also spent time with our chickens, feeding them and watching them in their habitat!

Finally we visited our wildlife pond trying to find our fish! 🐟

The children loved it! 🌸🪴🌟

Today Toddlers and Preschool enjoyed a visit from Little Play Dreamers… 🌟
Focusing on the Life Cycle of a Frog 🐸

We had a lovely visit from Zoo Lab today to share with us lots of different animals from around the world…. 🌍 Today we are focusing on caring for living things and their habitats….

We saw and got to hold a large spider, frog from Australia, slimy snake, large African snail and many more!

It was lovely to see the children getting involved and enjoying the session. 🕷️ 🐍 🪳 🐸

Today marks the 8th year of us opening our very own nursery here at Maisy Moo’s! 🎈🎈🎈

In 2016 we opened with a few children on roll and now in 2024 look how much we have grown! 🐮🌟🐮⭐️

We have had the best day celebrating with music, dancing, games, birthday cake and party food 😍😍

Myself and Louisa would like to thank all the parents who have support us throughout the years and we love providing amazing opportunities and experiences for your children! 😍🥰

But we also can’t do our dream without the amazing staff we have working alongside us! It wouldn’t be the place it is today without you all!

🐮🌟📚 World Book Day at Maisy Moos! 📚🐮

The children all dressed up as characters from a book of their choosing…. We have enjoyed learning and reading all about them!

We would also like to say thank you to Little Play Dreamers for an amazing imagination session of Jack and the Beanstalk and to Adventure Babies East Leeds for a messy session of We’re going on a bear hunt! 📚🌟🐮📚🌟

We have had a fab day! Now we are looking forward to celebrating nursery turning 8 tomorrow! 🐮🌟⭐️

Starting from Monday 4th March we will be providing a new varied and nutritional menu for the children to enjoy!

Here at Maisy Moo’s we promote a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle by guiding children to learn to make healthy choices that will support a lifetime of wellbeing… 🍉 🍌 🥕 🫛

🎶 🦀 Under the Sea 🎶 🪼

Today Baby Moos and Toddler Moos enjoyed a visit from Little Movers Selby, South York and Garforth for a dance session linking to Under the Sea…. 🌊🎶

The children danced, joined in with actions, went to see what sea animals they could find and having lots of fun along the way!! The children loved it!

We look forward to their visit again 🌊🎶🦀🪼😍🌟⭐️

Today our Baby and Mini Moo’s went out on a walk around the village- they are focusing on nature and the outdoors 😀

It’s Jungle Week!!

Sophie and Annabel and our Toddlers have been busy this week creating their own jungle display over our small world area…. ⭐️⭐️🌟

We have focusing on patterns, sounds and learnt about animals habitats through sensory creations!!

What a busy week and we couldn’t wait to show you! 🐮 ⭐️🌟⭐️ 🦒
