MHA needs volunteer telephone befrienders! Could that be you? 📞
Each telephone befriender is matched with an older person to have regular chats to help them feel less alone and isolated.
A half an hour call seems really simple, but having someone to talk to and someone to listen, could really make a difference. You could be the only person they speak to that day or even that week.
Apply here 👉 https://bit.ly/3Xm0NNh

We hope you're staying this week. Here are some top tips from our friends at Independent Age if you’re going out in the sun:
• Stay hydrated
• Wear loose-fitting, light cotton clothes and try to cover as much as possible
• Apply high-factor sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher with four or five star UVA protection) half an hour before you go out. Reapply it regularly
• Take a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water with you
• Stay in the shade as much as possible
• Avoid the hottest time of day - between 11am and 3pm
