Every week, we have a Reading club where Heidi reads the book, and residents all follow along with their own copy. It's a great way to read without total concentration, and residents can just listen. Using a microphone also means the residents with hearing problems can hear, and it's accessible to all. We have recently started Animal Farm by George Orwell, a fascinating book; residents enjoy following the story each week.
Broomcroft Has been making cake pops today. It was very messy, and the cake didn't hold together well, but it was lots of fun, and most importantly, it was a delicious afternoon snack with a cup of tea. Yummy!
