Goalball UK is the national governing body for the Paralympic sport of goalball in the United Kingdom. We are proud to be a registered charity, where our mission is to develop and promote the sport of goalball, creating opportunities for people with visual impairments to participate and compete at all levels. Goalball UK also provides support and guidance to players, coaches, officials, and clubs
Last week saw 23 school staff and sports coaches from around London complete the Goalball School Leaders Course 👏.

Two grants are available, one for individual goalball players, and one for clubs. This to support players to feel confident and comfortable whilst playing goalball. Maybe you would like to purchase a more well suited chest guard, new court shoes, or additional equipment to help you feel more protected and comfortable whilst you play.
All applicants must be affiliated to Goalball UK clubs and a member of Goalball UK. Applications are open until Sunday 7th July.

A female-only development day, open to those who have never played before, up to players rated as a two in Goalball UK competitions. If you have a higher rating than a two, you are welcome to attend and support in a volunteer capacity. The day will consist of a training session in the morning, followed by a friendly competition in the afternoon.

In two weeks time, in partnership with Oxfordshire Goalball Club we are hosting a female-only development day at Iffley Road Sports Centre!
This event is open to people who have never played goalball before, up to players rated as a two in our competitions. The day will include on-court goalball sessions, with training sessions in the morning followed by a friendly competition in the afternoon.

Yesterday saw the conclusion of the IBSA Goalball European Championships B in Lignano Sibbiadoro, Italy! If you watched along via the YouTube livestream during the competition, you may have heard some familiar voices of Stephen Newey and Robert Avery. Well done to you both!👏
We also learnt who will be promoted and competing against the Great Britain men and women's squads at the 2025 European Championships A in Lahti, Finland. Below is the final standings for the promoted teams:
