Hello Sheffield! Yesterday's Armies on Parade was fantastic (check out the post with all the pictures if you haven't already!) but there was an unfortunate casualty of a Treeman's nose. Thankfully we managed to find it before Henry the hoover did, so if you are the gentleman with the lovely Bloodbowl teams, pop down and we can hopefully patch them up :)

Hello Sheffield! This is your final reminder - Armies on Parade is only one day away! I can't wait to see what everyone has been up to this year! Just a reminder of the times:

11am: We will start setting up entries for Individual, Team, Youngbloods and Skaventide
12pm: Judging will take place for the above categories and awards given out
1pm: We'll start setting up Display Board entries
2pm: Display board judging will take place and awards given out

Tomorrow's releases are looking awesome as well, with the new Space Marine 2 Recruit box arriving on our shelves! This will be a limited release - once it's gone, it's gone - so if you're wanting your own Lieutenant Titus model then make sure to get here bright and early!

Hey Sheffield, exciting news - check out the Battle of Edoras starter set for the brand new edition of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game!

There's new plastic Warriors of Rohan and Hill Tribesmen, leaders for both forces and some lovely Rohan terrain alongside everything you need to play the new edition. That's a lot of miniatures! I think Haleth might just be my favourite though - what about yours?

I've been having a lot of fun playing Killteam in preparation for the new edition, my bomb squig has been putting in the hard work and managed to take out 3 operatives in my last game (not necessarily all enemies but we'll gloss over that)! So what's been happening in your games this week?

Hello Sheffield! This is your weekly reminder - there are less than 2 weeks until Armies on Parade - this is your permission to panic a little! I've just finished off my Flesh-eater Courts units and am moving onto Ushoran, so I'm hoping to get them finished in time to show off!

Hey everyone! We’ve had next weeks pre orders revealed and they are magnificent indeed! Kill Team: Hivestorm and a whole heap of Kill Teams will be preparing to deploy! The long awaited Night Lords and Mandrake Kill Teams are included in this wave of releases too!

Is anyone else planning to jump into this new edition of Kill Team with the Hivestorm box? I’m super excited to get my Vespid ready for action!

As Thursday rolls around again let's hear some of your tabletop tales. I have just witnessed a single wounded Rat Ogre turn the tables and kill off an almost full Liberator unit in a single turn. Definitely rat of the match. So what have been your highs and lows this week?

So you may have seen and heard a lot of talk about Armies on Parade starting to pop up. There are 5 categories this year, the most famous of which is display which is what all those amazing 3D boards you may have seen would count as.
Next you have individual and team which is just you(or you and some friends) entering your painted models. These can just be put on a flat game board to help frame them. Next is Youngbloods which is the same as individual but for under 16's and finally this year we have the best of Skaventide for those who have been cracking on with their new AoS boxset.

The parade day instore will take place on Saturday 28th September and since its all happening on one day we will be splitting the day in two.

At 12 o'clock we will display Individual, Team, Youngblood and best of Skaventide. You can start bring displays down from 11am to get them set up. We will then clear down about 1pm to allow the display boards to start setting up with judging at 2pm.
11 o'clock - Can start setting up entries for everything except "Display"
12 o'clock - Judging for first 4 categories
1 o'clock - Setting up display boards
2 o'clock - Judging for "display" boards
We are looking forward to seeing all the amazing models you've been working on and as always we will be taking lots of photos to display on our page :)

This week I've been playing around with weathering and battle damage during lessons as well as some highlights and detail work. What have you been working on?

Yesterday was our August Mini of the Month painting challenge - have a look at all these awesome Space Marine Scouts! We had an amazing turn out, so thank you to everyone that took part!

The Kruleboy Monsta Killa is our next Mini of the Month, and its painting challenge is on Saturday the 5th of October - I can't wait to see the creative ways you all paint this one!

Welcome once again to a table top tales Thursday where you get to tell me all about your recent tabletop exploits. What did you play, who did you use, who did you face and most importantly what was one of the most glorious(or laughably dismal) moments of the game when the dice gods gazed fully upon the tabletop.
I've just watched a full unit of Hobgrot Slittas charge into some Clanrats only to fluff their chance and only kill 2 before being eliminated in a single burst of retaliation.
