Southport Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Southport, on the on the Northwest coast in Merseyside, England. The Waterloo Road home ground is situated in the Hillside area of Birkdale.
The first team play in English rugby's North Two West. The club has five other senior and coltsโ teams, the second team and third team who play in the English North West League. The Ladies who play in the RFU Womenโs NC 1. Colts teams, U17 and U18 play in the North West Colts Leagues and a veteranโs team, The Shipwrecks.
The 11-acre site includes 3 full size rugby pitches, one of which is illuminated by RFU match-quality floodlights; the clubhouse in modern premises affording ideal and flexible conference and function facilities for all occasions. Our function room can cater for both large and small events, and our professional bar and catering staff take pride in providing excellent service for guests to enjoy.
