Thanks to this lovely group of CDS users for a brilliant intensive training weekend. Two whole days of exploring our advanced CDS features, and helping our users to get the best out of their system. Along with hard work we have had lots of sun, food, coffee, chats, drinks and even some dancing. We love this part of the job, giving our users the confidence to push the IT to the max.

This has been a momentous week for us. 1. The weather has suddenly turned sunny, 2. Our part-time students have just finished their IT degrees and are at last full-time employees with us. We can't express strongly enough how happy this makes us. These guys are the best of local talent, and we feel extremely lucky to have found them.
The future of the CDS chauffeur system is exciting.

We needed more development staff to pursue our ambition to be the best cloud-based chauffeur software in the UK and internationally. So our team just increased to 5 people. John and Allan will help Gareth move forward with the development schedule for CDS as we move into a really exciting new phase of growth. Our new developers will help us evolve the software and help us continue providing the most innovative software on the market, and grow our network across the globe.
We believe that to create the best software solutions for the industry, we all need to talk and collaborate together on every idea and problem, and this can only be done face to face. To this end, we only employ staff who live in the area, who can come into the office full time. We don't outsource to save costs, we support local industry and skills.

A big CDS welcome to Dan Belcher, CEO, and founder of Safe Solo Ltd. It is fantastic to see how innovative our users are, and how many different ways they find to use our chauffeur software. So we tried to get all of our CDS users on the stage to get a picture together, out of a good few we managed to get 8 people there at one time, it was like herding cats. We managed to get Chris and Kelly of CK Cars, Geth from Wrexham Chauffeurs, Paula and William from team Aura (who also won a silver award btw, amazing achievement and proud to call you a CDS user!) and Paul and Lucy from Team Privilege in Leeds.
Missing from the picture is Nick from Aura Journeys, Steve Lynch from Sterling Service, Laurance and Gemma from Parkers (also a Gold award winner - fantastic and well deserved!, Graeme Coate and team from First Class Cars, Ian and Jan from Plus Transfers, and Tracy and Richard from Cyllenius, not to forget Dan from Safe Solo, and Andy Hilton from a Hilton-Ames!
If anyone managed to get more people in one place please let me have it, the pull of the bar and the disco was too great 🙂

Gareth and I had the pleasure of meeting a few of our lovely CDS users, at the QSI awards in Coldra Manor in Newport last week.
