Taster Sessions for my Saturday Sewing Club are available this weekend if they fancy just trying a standalone session.

£10.50 for a 1 hour class, or £40 for the next 4 Saturdays.

Classes run at-

10.00am - 11.00am (4 spaces available)

11.15am - 12.15pm (2 spaces available)

Moorish is located very close to Sainsburys Hazel Grove and does fabulous teas, coffee, cakes, breakfasts and children's lunches. 😋

Isabelles loves her sewing classes with Kelly,Kelly got them all using recycled materials to make their projects and sent off for their green blue peter badges.Isabelles badge just turned up in the post and she is on cloud 9!

Now that it feels like Autumn is setting in and we're going to be indoors more, it's the perfect time to learn new hobbies such as embroidery and sewing to keep children entertained at the weekends.

My Saturday Sewing Club starts again this Saturday at Moorish Coffee Shop, near Sainsburys Hazel Grove and places are available for new starters.

Single 1 hour sessions are £10.50 if your child would like to come when suits, or the full 5 weeks is available to book for £50.

This term we're going to be learning how to stitch our own handprints using a variety of embroidery stitches, before moving on to more 'seasonal' makes! 🎃🌟🎄

I feel really mixed writing this and there have been lots of tears and turmoil but I am now certain this is the right decision,for me and for us as a family.A few of you will know the reasoning behind it which I wont put on here but a new exciting door has opened up for us and its something I have always wanted to do so weve decided to go for it but unfortunately the further we have gone with the process the more it has become apparent that to follow the dream it means we have to say goodbye to this one,So we have made the tough decision to put Moorish up for sale 💔
Things will carry on as normal until we sell it so still come in and see us 🩷 weve had the best 2 years with you all and thankyou for all the support you have shown us.

Soooo I got a bit giddy and ordered too many pots for pot painting so if anyone is stuck for a last min activity today then come and paint a pot.Pots are now £5 each (no lunch included) while stock lasts!must arrive before 12.30 😊.

We are pot painting today at 10am,we have a couple of spaces left if anyone fancies it drop us a message.
The kids get a pot to paint,some biscuitd and juice and a sandwich or toastie to eat whilst their creations dry.

Have you made plans for the final 2 Fridays of the Summer Holidays for your children?

If you fancy a couple of hours of 'me time' whilst your children enjoy a couple of hours being creative with others, I'm running 2 Creative Sewing Classes at Moorish Coffee Shop in Great Moor/ Hazel Grove this August.

Children will spend 2 hours drawing their own designs on paper, then I'll show them how to transfer them to fabric ready for embroidering on fabric.

We'll learn running stitch, back stitch and satin stitch and finally cut them out and mount them in a small frame to keep forever.

Parents are welcome to stay upstairs in the Coffee Shop/ Garden for the 2 hours, or drop-off is fine too, as long as you leave me with your details.
