It's beautiful sunshine today so we'd love to see all of your beautiful faces for Foodie Friday Beach Party our final summer fling in The Stockport Market.

Dig out your sun hats and flip flops and come on down. We've got the lovely Ailsa McPhee from The Daily Dance doing her Beach Party thing in the Market Square.

We've also got our biggest line-up of street food traders to date so even more to choose from! If you arrive early to soak up the sun, most traders are usually ready to serve from 5.30pm.

Foodie Friday is an inclusive community event and we are delighted to share the wonderful activities taking place inside Stockport Parish Church - St Mary's next Friday in association with Renew-stockport.

Please do call in to St Mary's from 6pm onwards to enjoy these wonderful performances from Stockport Soul Children Choir and Stockport Silver Band with Carols by Candlelight and the Rector's Tour at 8pm. There's also mince pies and mulled punch.

Even more reasons to visit Stockport Old Town this Christmas season.

What a simply stunning autumnal day we’ve had today. Thank you for all your support. Great to see so many smiling faces. Tomorrow is Remembrance Sunday and we are open as normal from 0900-1300. We will be observing 2 minutes silence at 11am as a mark of respect for the fallen ❤️
