We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This is a sad, solemn, and immensely historic day for our nation. She devoted her entire life to the services of our great country, which for her Her Majesty were a great passion.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.

Mental Health is something we, as a company, are very passionate about! ✨❤️

In September 2019, some of our team lost a wonderful friend and colleague, and Zoë lost a beautiful daughter! 💔

Ellie was an amazing friend, colleague and paramedic and someone who will always be missed in the ‘green’ community. 💚

In light of these tragic events, Zoe made a strong decision to begin the Forever20 charity, which she is launching this September. 🥰

Our thoughts are with the family of the Ambulance Technician who died this morning whilst on duty in Hereford.

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to his family, as well as his crew mate, colleagues and wider 999 family. 💚❤️💙

Today, the funeral of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a national minute of silence will be observed in his memory.

Dignity Emergency Medical Services are proud to announce that we are now an approved Qualsafe Awards Centre. 🎉

This means we are now approved to deliver nationally recognised, accredited qualifications across the UK & Ireland. 🇬🇧🇮🇪

As a private ambulance service, these will be first aid qualifications or pre-hospital care qualifications. 🚑

This year, our team are taking part in RED January. This is an event to raise money for Sport in Mind which is a mental health charity which uses sport to help improve and empower people's lives.

Our team have been exercising every day over the past week and will continue to exercise in different forms throughout this month to help raise funds for this amazing charity.

With the new lockdown restrictions in place, this will inevitably have a detrimental effect on people's mental health and will increase the amount of calls to our amazing NHS Ambulance Services for persons in mental health crisis.

One of the best ways to improve mental health is to exercise regularly to help release endorphins in the brain, so we encourage everyone to do so to help beat away those blues.

Luckily, they have the support of our Elf Communications Assistants (ECAs), across the Midlands and London, to help keep everyone safe over Christmas. 🚑

If you see them, give them a wave, and help them to help you by only calling 9️⃣9️⃣9️⃣ in an emergency! 🚨

When the current lockdown restrictions end in England on 2nd December, Staffordshire will be placed in Tier 3.

In order to control the virus, and prevent overwhelming the NHS, please only call 9️⃣9️⃣9️⃣ or attend A&E in a medical emergency when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk. 🚑🏥

⚠️North West Ambulance Service has declared a major incident due to the high level of activity in the North West region, in particular the Greater Manchester area. For enquiries relating to this incident, please follow our Twitter site and here on our page.

If your call is not life-threatening, you may be asked if you can seek an alternative source of care or make your way to hospital by alternate means. You can help us reach the patients that urgently need our help by not calling 999 unless the condition is life-threatening or potentially life-threatening, not calling us to find out where your ambulance is or calling to cancel any ambulance that you no longer require or feel is necessary.

We are trying our best to reach patients as soon as we possibly can and apologise for any delays in our response. Please bear with us.
