Weโve rounded up our top tips to help you stay on track even when your social calendar is FULL this month
- Go For Smaller Portions Eating at a restaurant? Why not split a dish with a friend and order some veggies or a salad on the side? Restaurant portions are often much bigger than a normal portion - and itโs easy to overeat when youโre busy talking with friends.
- Make It a Date - an exercise date. Why not head out on a walk with a friend instead of a coffee shop catch up? That way you get some extra steps in without even thinking about it.
- Drink 2 large glasses of water as soon as you sit down at your dinner or arrive at the bar. This will help make you feel fuller and perhaps prevent over ordering when it comes to the food.
- Meal Prep Like a Pro! When youโre busy, itโs easy to fall back into old habits and opt for convenience especially if you are trying to maintain. Prepare your meals and snacks to ensure healthy food is always easily available.
- Take your product with you and donโt be embarrassed to say โNOโ. Your weight loss journey should be all about you.

Ok, first thingโs first, why does gut health matter?
It all comes down to your gut microbiome and how itโs linked to your overall wellbeing.
For a start, 70-80% of our immune system can be found in our gut, with better gut health said to result in fewer sick days.

Recently there has been a fantastic announcement following the Diabetes UK Conference where the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme was unveiled. This programme provides a low-calorie, total diet replacement regime for those living with Type 2 Diabetes and obesity, to help them lose weight and become healthier, as well as potentially reverse their condition.
The results so far have been incredibly positive, showing that out of those who completed the programme:
