🌟Play for All - Immunocompromised Sessions! 🌟

Here at Space Adventurers, we are passionate about making play accessible to all children, including those with compromised immune systems who wouldn’t usually be able to access soft play centres. Post pandemic, we invested in cutting-edge fogging technology to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone.

Previously at our sister site, Ocean Adventurers, we partnered with local children's hospitals and specialist children's oncology centres to offer exclusive, private "Immunocompromised Sessions".

These sessions allow for children who wouldn’t typically be able to access soft play centres due to the increased risk, to enjoy our centre at no cost to them at all.

Here's what you need to know:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Limited to 1-2 families per session (depending on health needs)

Our fogging technology, introduced first at our sister site back in 2019, has set new standards in cleanliness and safety. It allows us to fog our whole centre automatically without any human intervention. Using eco-friendly stabilised hydrogen peroxide, it eliminates bacteria and viruses effectively. Within a few hours dries into pure water and oxygen leaving behind a silver barrier, traditionally used to prevent bacteria and viruses, and has been used for centuries in medicine for its anti-microbial properties.

⚪️🧦⚪️ WHITE SOCK TEST ⚪️🧦⚪️

We pride ourselves on both our visible and invisible cleaning processes and something key to this is our unique ‘White Sock Test’ which is a core part of our visible cleaning audits.

John, who is our Head of Operations, regularly goes around all of our centres including the soft play structures, ball pits, toilets, cafe and role play, in brand new white socks as part of his cleaning audits to ensure his socks are white at the end.

Here he is carrying out his most recent white sock test, if you see him around the structure in white socks then make sure to give him a wave and feel free to take up the challenge yourselves with white socks and let us know the results!

As you can see, John leaves no ball unturned during his audits, even the very bottom of the ball pits are checked for cleanliness!

We want all visitors to leave our centre with socks the same colour as they arrive in.

This is just one of our measures to keep our centre as clean as it can possibly be.

It is so important to us that our customers feel safe in the environment they let their children play in, which is why we have many cleaning measures to help us pass the white sock test every time, such as our regular fogging and disinfectant spraying (which dries into pure oxygen and water in just a matter of hours), and why we invest heavily in some of the best high tech cleaning machines such as our scrubber dryer floor cleaner and ball cleaning machine, which also play a big part to keep our centre squeaky clean. 🧼🧽🧹🧺

We recently had our annual Visit England quality assessment and we are over the moon (pardon the Space pun!) to say that we PASSED and retained our VisitEngland Quality Assured Visitor Attraction status!

Huge well done to all the team for all their hard work and efforts throughout Summer and for keeping the standards high during day to day running of Space Adventurers.

If you are found with our sink waste pipes in your back pocket (or any other bits of plumbing), we’ll kindly request their safe return so that our sinks can, you know, actually function for our customers. We thank you for your support with this.
