Small group personal training allows you the best of both worlds when it comes to results-driven training that is more cost-effective. The popularity of small group personal training has grown mainly due to the fact that it is fun and is more affordable than the traditional one to one personal training service.
My small group sessions are unlike any others. Each member follows their own program which is adapted to them based on their ability and their goals.
When you become a member, you will train alongside a maximum of 7 other members. Each member follows their program for a period of 4 to 6 weeks and the programme will be changed if needed after regular reassessments.
Following a programme allows each member to train at a level which is safe yet challenging to them. Compared to group exercise classes where the workout changes every session and the workout might not be at a suitable level for each member. Every session you will be trained by myself to motivate you and ensure you are performing the exercises correctly.
🌞Sunday Meal Prep 🌞
Recently I have been preparing these bagels on a Sunday to save time during the week and stay on track to hitting my macros.
This is just over 650 calories, 50g of protein, 30g of carbs and 60g of carbs.
My overall calorie intake for the day is high and my maintenance calories are roughly 3,500. I tend to diet on 2500-3000. Most of the year I just eat around maintenance and try to recomposition over time (build muscle and lose fat).
Prepping on a Sunday makes it much easier to stay on track for the week, and I often recommend ‘calorie cycling’ (which is just having more calories on the weekend and less in the week) to balance your calories over the week to stay on track towards your goal, whether it’s building muscle or losing fat.

CLIENT PROGRESS 🙌🏼
Rich has lost 2.6kg in bodyweight and reduced his bodyfat percentage by 1.7% over the last 10 days

EXCITING NEWS!!!
We are launching our brand new HYROX class this Saturday 6 July at 8am and this will be running every week!!! 🏋️♀️🛷🚲
Due to the popularity of this competition at the moment, we decided to add it to our class timetable so that you can all get involved!!!
These sessions are designed to challenge your endurance and your strength; blending running with a series of exercises such as walking lunges, wall balls and sled pushing and pulling!! (don’t worry if you cant run there will be alternatives).
The first session starts this Saturday and there are limited spaces available for this class so make sure you book in advance to get involved!

It was great to have Richard Capstick in the gym for a few sessions this week
The gym layout was modelled on world class strength and conditioning facilities from when I worked in sport so it was great to have a professional athlete come and make use of the facility!

One of the new additions we’ve introduced to the space is a cardio area. Whilst we firmly believe the foundation of any good training program is strength training we don’t neglect other components of training that improve health, wellbeing and body composition.
The small group pt programme is primarily strength training on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with Wednesday and Saturday having a greater emphasis on cardio and calorie burn!!

A lot of progress made and some big changes over the weekend at the new location!! We’re getting closer now to the official opening and I’m excited to share it with you all. The last 10 months have been the hardest of my career to date, I genuinely can’t believe I’m in a position where I’m able to do this now and I can’t wait to see how the next year unfolds.
The new space is designed with a focus on elite strength and conditioning to enable me to deliver the best small group personal training in Taunton.

Amazing progress! Just getting started :)
If you had told me in July by christmas i would lose 5lbs i wouldn’t of believed you.
I started PT sessions once a week to lose weight, which if you know me, was not going to happen because i love McDonalds & we had a US trip planned!
After a few sessions i realised how much i enjoyed going to so weight loss didn’t bother because & i had more energy… 6.30am starts 😴 wowwwww!
I now do 3 sessions a week thanks to my lovely wife 😂🥵 (i didn’t get much of a choice 😂) and I absolutely bloody love it!!!! My bank also loves the lack of McDonald’s!
I weighed myself this evening, because my clothes are better fitting, measurements are different & WOOOOHOOOO 🥳🥳🥳 16lbs since July!
I never weigh myself so i won’t be disheartened when it changes but this is all because of , the amazing sessions & encouragement he gives me!

Here’s 3 things I see a lot of people doing, that after about 1-2 months of doing it they’re probably getting no benefit from it
Also the amount of people I have trained that have a ‘strong’ core from Pilates or yoga and struggle to do things like ab rollouts or reverse crunches
