Natural Herringbone Installation

Engineered Character Oak ▪️ Micro bevelled edges

Treated with Bona Prime Natural and top coated with Bona Traffic Raw. Nothing beats the natural finish this system delivers.

This had to be matched in with an existing floor, so time was taken to track down the same manufacture and luckily that the same blocks were still being made! This meant by the time we sanded it all back, the finish left it impossible to tell the difference between old and new.

Floorboard Refurbishment completed on an exciting house renovation project.

Gorgeous Jacobean stain transforms pine and really turns it into something spectacular (in our opinion)! Top coated with a silk finish for that subtle shine 👌🏻

We did something a little different on this one by spraying the tongues of the board. They were visible due to shrinkage over the years but we found staining them a pain, spray painting worked brilliantly in the end and made the finished floors more crisp.

A pleasure working on an exciting project and .parish can’t wait to see the finished article in the year ahead 🙌🏻

Kitchen floor sanding on our site in Clifton. This floor was very worn and tired but a thorough sand and some TLC paved the way for a white was finish and voilà!

This was the start of a big refurbishment project in Bristol! As you may have seen from our stories, we’ve since moved on to the rest for the house which is the full refurbishment of some 120m2 Edwardian pine floorboards 💪🏼

This oak floor was once grey but it sanded off nicely and came up a treat! Great transformation that suits the space really well we think.

Chipboard sub floor was primed with Reymar RP to ensure proper adhesive adhesion🤌🏻

Nice small job to start the year but a lovely one too.

It is crazy what can be hiding beneath your carpet. These boards came up a treat after being stained. The grain is breathtaking!

Classic Oak Herringbone

Ultra Matt natural finish using Bona Prime Natural and Bona Traffic Raw.

Parquet restoration in an Anglican Church dating back to 1265!!

The Church had a font relocated and the parquet needed some repairs/alterations. In the end the floor is unrecognisable to the state we found it it but after staining, the colour was a near perfect match to the rest of parquet in the church.

Stained using Morrells Lightfast new medium oak and coated with Bona Traffic HD.

Installation complete 👌🏻

We’ve just finished a herringbone install in this charming property which dates back to the 1500’s!! Floor treated with Treatex Colour Tone, Dark oak and top coated with coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil, Matt.

Laitance removal was required on this one as was the pouring of smoothing compound. Sub floor preparation key as always 🗝

Can’t wait to see the end result when our clients reach the finish line for the rest of the house!

Goodbye Orange! 🟠

Our clients decided to change things up a little bit. Off came the natural oak colour and on went Bona Craft Oil Clay!

Expansive area throughout the ground floor but with an additional Flexisand added to the arsenal we made light work of it.

The floor was then heavily brushed using the NEB system and the results are stunning. What a transformation!

Huge floor! 260m2 of 240mm x 20mm engineered oak boards fitted in a new eco build property across two storeys.

Boards came brushed and pretreated in a natural oil.

Directional change came at the clients request to help break up the open plan into zones.

Engineered flooring fitted and treated with Rubio Oil 2c Mist. Anthracite beading fitting around the edge to blend in with the framing 👌🏻

This conservatory was recently upgraded to include a warm roof and solar glass (we only did the floor). Such a great idea to convert conservatories to be a part of the main house!

Gorgeous oak flooring fitting in an existing clients kitchen and dining area. They had a small flood and the old solid oak floor had to be ripped out! Glad we could step in to help put it back to how it should be.

Engineered character oak 220mm wide, fixed 2200mm lengths, premium 20mm thickness. Our client wanted the best and that’s what they got 💯

A lovely Herringbone installation fit for this charming Victorian Terrace.

Lightly tumbled 280mm x 70mm oak blocks, coloured using Treatex medium oak and a top coat of clear Matt 👌🏻

Herringbone refurbishment recently completed and another happy customer 🙇🏼‍♂️

This floor was only sanded 5 years ago by another company! Clearly some tradesmen don’t do the job right and care too much about their pockets!!!

Some repair/alterations were carried out and then the whole lot was sanded back and re-treated.

Our clients first reaction was, “It looks like a brand new floor” and that’s the great thing about wood flooring, it doesn’t take much and you’ve got a new floor all over again and a fraction of the cost!

Worn out Oak floor turned new again 🤗 This floor had been worn down and had stains/marks/dents all over. A few runs with the belts and then on with the flexi had this job turned around in quick time 🙌

Treated with Colour Tone Ultra - Antique Oak and Treatex Hard Wax Oil Ultra - Matt.

This one was an uphill struggle at one point but we love challenges! It makes the end result all the more rewarding.

Full restoration of a 300 year old original pine floor, repairs, fillets installed. The floorboards were all different thicknesses so sanding was a lengthy process but we got there in the end!
