Stepping Stones SW Ltd
Stepping Stones (SW) Ltd providing pre-school care for children from 2 years, based in Staplegrove, Taunton
The children have really enjoyed our festival week.
A few of our activities included dancing, making festival headbands, making ribbons, and experimenting with musical instruments.
They have all been very creative, allowing them to access a range of resources and use their own thoughts and ideas.
Second hand school uniform from FOSS will be available until next Friday, the 5th of July.
A great way to support the school by giving some funds back, as well as saving some money ๐.
We are seeing some extremely hot weather this week.
Please can your child come to playgroup with the following:
โ Named sun hat ( bucket style if possible).
โ Named water bottle.
โ Suncream already applied.
Many thanks ๐
This week, our theme is travel.
The children have been given a checklist to tick off when they see any form of transport.
The children are welcome to bring the list back in towards the end of the week so we can all share what we have seen.
We are hopeful to see some sunshine this week โ๏ธ.
This is just a polite reminder to please ensure your child arrives with suncream applied. We will reapply during the day.
Please make sure they also have a named water bottle and sun hat.
Thank you ๐

Sticker labels are really good but a pen is just as good ๐

The children were great at measuring out and pouring the ingredients we needed.

Now our school leavers have found out which school they will attend, our focus will be school readiness with them.
Please read the attached information, which gives some interesting points about school readiness and what it actually entails.
It's not about being able to write their names or read. The biggest focus is on independent skills and allowing them to grow and develop at their own pace.
