All ready for our last mock of the year! Mock C! See you all soon! 👋 😃

Today was the final day of our 4 morning/afternoon 11+ revision course and we finished with a busy session of English! The children were all brilliant (as ever!) and we also double checked everyone was happy completing the multiple choice answer sheets correctly! ✍️

Over the last 2 weeks, we’ve been privileged to support 40 students in their 11+ journeys with our revision sessions. The children have been wonderful and we have loved our sessions. We hope the children have enjoyed them too and found them useful; we think a few new friendships have formed too! 😃

Day 2 of our course and we had 3 hours of Maths today! Lots to get through but the children were all superstars! Well done everyone!

We were back at St Philip’s today for day 1 of our 4 day 11+ revision course! What a fabulous group of children we had joining us for the morning and afternoon sessions! It was 3 hours of verbal today! Looking forward to day 2 and maths tomorrow!

Day 2 of our revision course went brilliantly again today, despite it being on the warm side! 🥵

It was English and Non Verbal/Spatial today! The children remained so focussed again (despite the heat) and we were very proud of them! 👏

We have loved supporting the children over these last two days and look forward to welcoming lots of them back to our next mock on Thursday afternoon! Let’s just hope it’s cooled down a little by then! 🤞

What a great day at our first 11+ revision course of the summer at St Philip’s today! 😃

Today, we looked at all the key elements that come up within the maths and verbal reasoning parts of the Kent Test, as well as discussing all important exam techniques and time management tips! ✅

Well done everyone! 👏 You were all brilliant: enthusiastic, focussed and super organised! We loved all the lovely stationery too! 🤩📚

With the summer holidays almost here for everyone, it’s time for children to unwind and relax for six weeks and to have a well-deserved break until school re-starts. ☀️😎

However, for those doing the 11+ in September, it’s slightly different as we do need to keep the momentum going for another few weeks until the Kent Test on either the 12th or 14th September (for out of county children). ✍️

Here are a few of our tips on how to tackle the next seven weeks regarding 11+ preparation until the test date with some suggestions in some things you should be doing ✅ … along with some things you shouldn’t! ❌

Registration for the Kent Test (the 11+) for children due to start secondary school in September 2025 opens today (Monday 3rd June 2024) and will close at midnight on Monday 1 July 2024. Late registrations will not be accepted.

This year, the tests are due to take place on Thursday 12 September 2024 for pupils in Kent primary schools, and on the weekend of Saturday 14 September 2024 for other pupils.

The assessment results will be sent on Thursday 17 October 2024.

With summer approaching and the Kent Test just a few months away, it can be a great idea for your child to attend an 11+ mock exam. ✍️

Now in our 14th year, our mock exams have always been popular with families and provide a great opportunity to trial the test before the big day itself! 💡📑

Our early June and July mocks are now sold out (and operating waiting lists) but we have availability for our two mocks over the summer at St Philip’s Church on Birken Road in central Tunbridge Wells. ✅

Mocks will run on:
Thursday 1 August at 2pm
Saturday 10 August at 9.30am

We also offer an 11+ mock in the beautiful village of Sandhurst, which also has good availability. This is on Saturday 29 June at 9.30am. 🙇
