Proud to see Noah and Sakina, two amazing young Skylarks Stars on the cover of Motability Lifestyle Magazine in their November edition 📙

They have taken part in a photoshoot which dives into a critical topic: representation in toys. When children with disabilities see themselves in the toys they play with, it boosts confidence and fosters acceptance from an early age. But there’s more to be done! We need manufacturers to work with children, families, and educators to ensure toys reflect the diverse world we live in.

Our Managing Director, Aaron Guiver, says it best: "Representation is essential. By collaborating with people with lived experiences, we can make toys and stories that truly resonate."

This morning, our Head of Fundraising, Dee, took to the radio to talk about our exciting upcoming firewalk—perfectly timed for Bonfire Night! 🔥

Fiona our Operations Manager, represented our charity at The National Children & Young People Awards as we were thrilled to have been shortlisted as finalists for The Children with Disabilities Category.

Hosted by musician Steve Walls, the evening was full with great food, company and entertainment!

Join us for a train-filled day where they can explore their love for trains in a safe and welcoming environment.

🏮 Lantern Making Workshops for all the family

We are thrilled to have Watermans Arts Centre lead the workshop at West Thames College in Isleworth. You can carry your new lantern at the Winter Lights Festival!

🚂 Half term is racing towards us with full steam ahead! We've got loads going on with sessions in , , and .

🚄 We're kicking off the week with another visit to the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton on their amazing mezzanine floor with wonderful views of the depot below.

🚉 We'll be running sessions with Skylarks Charity on Monday in Hampton and Wednesday in Twickenham. Then it's off to and Lower Green Community Centre for even more train-play.
