Our ears contain many acupressure points which, when gentle pressure is applied helps your body to rebalance. Auricular reflexology may be helpful for anxiety, headaches, pain and cravings to name a few!

After massaging the ear, we apply ear seeds like in the picture. These tiny acupressure balls called ear seeds, are applied to acupressure points on your ear, usually the right ear for women and the left ear for men.

The tiny ear seeds usually stay in place for 3-5 days before naturally falling off. They are no maintenance- just carry on as usual with showering, swimming etc. They will come off when they are ready!

During the Middle Ages, the custom developed of allowing people who had moved away from where they grew up to come back to visit their home or 'mother' churches, and their mothers, on the fourth Sunday of the Christian festival of Lent.

At the time, it wasn't uncommon for children to leave home to work when they were as young as 10 years old, so this was an opportunity for families to meet up again.

This became Mothering Sunday in Britain. As the dates of Lent vary each year, so does the date of Mothering Sunday.

This day is the perfect opportunity to say "thank you' to the Mother in your life and celebrate them!
