This time last week, Debbie and Beth were gearing up for the half marathon, while Neil was preparing for the full marathon. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Despite the rain, the Edinburgh route was stunning. Runners enjoyed the historic Royal Mile, the breathtaking Scottish Parliament building, and spectacular views of Arthur's Seat & Salisbury Crags. They also passed the Palace of Holyrood before heading east towards the coast, breathing in the sea air along Portobello promenade. 🌧️🏰🌊

Debbie and Beth smashed the half-marathon, finishing 12 minutes ahead of their predicted time. Neil powered through his marathon despite battling injuries, and Ellie, who has been training with them, ran a half-marathon back in Kernow. 🎉🏅💪

With a few more local (albeit smaller) runs planned this year, starting with the Bude Lifeboat Run, the team is already talking about their next challenge! 🏅👟
