Starting our team introductions with Lizzie who is just about to qualify as a VCA (veterinary care assistant) and will be soon moving onto her nursing.

Liz started with us some 2 years ago and has been an amazing contribution to the team. It is not just her heart that lies in veterinary, it’s her whole life. It was her who adopted Roo, a rescue lurcher which was dropped injured at our practice with no owner. It is also her who would take pebbles home to paint rainbows on them to make sure we have something to give pet owners at the sad times when they are saying goodbyes.

You can meet Lizzie mostly in the mornings when she is admitting patients or on consults. Your pets will always be looked after well with her❤️

We are really excited to be now offering a novel technique for cruciate ligament repair in dogs called Zlig!

This was adopted from human medicine and in contrast to the traditional bone-cutting techniques it represents a simple replacement of the damaged ligament with an artificial one. The patients can start with mobilisation straight after surgery so it is perfect for those young and bouncy ones. 🥰
Furthermore it is a bit cheaper and we also offer interest-free repayment schemes to make it all the more affordable. 👍

We had the pleasure of welcoming Kiwi to our practice for her vaccination and health check. She did super well and enjoyed plenty of cuddles from our VCA Lizzie! 💉🩺❤️

Introducing Our New Muzzles for Safer Extubation! When pets wake up from general anaesthesia, it can be a confusing and disorienting experience. In selected cases when muzzle is required, we sometimes had to compromise between fitting the muzzle timely and extubating as late as possible.

Our new muzzles help ensure a safer and calmer removal of the endotracheal tubes while staff can stay safe. 🐾

A male uncastrated Tabby cat had been brought into us, and emergency intervention was performed; sadly, the cat passed away.

We'd like to find his owner and let them know.

The cat was found in Brownhills.
