Interior Architect, Surrey, to £35k, V04201. This young and vibrant Interior Design Consultancy work with private high-end residential clients offering a bespoke service covering interior architecture, design, styling and furnishing. Their client base spans London, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire and across the South-East England. Increasingly busy with lots of exciting new projects in progress they are looking for an Interior Architect to be responsible for creating joinery packages, lighting and general arrangement plans, carrying out site surveys and producing detailed layouts. Helping with all technical aspects of the projects.

They would alternatively consider taking on a CAD Technician with the potential to grow and take on further responsibilities and skills. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Self-motivated and proactive, you’ll need experience working on residential projects and the ability to produce working drawings for construction. Strong VectorWorks proficiency is a must as are good communication and organisation skills.

As a well-established middle weight designer, you would be working alongside the Design Manager in delivery of a fast paced, deadline driven roll-out refurbishment programme. You will need to be confident is guiding both freelance and internal interior designers in concise drawing delivery.

The role would entail ongoing guidance within the team, assisting the design manager with checking drawing packages and presentations to the client. They are also open to considering a Project Manager with designer knowledge and skill set. They are conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport.

With 4+ years' experience on hospitality projects you’ll have proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign and strong attention to detail and consistency in drawing work. As an Interior Designer, you'll be supporting a dynamic team to help ensure seamless project coordination for all the interior design aspects of projects. The amazing initial project you will be involved in is in the heart of London, a luxury hotel, hospitality and residential development requiring the finest of materials and finishes, heritage detailing and a creative eye for design. You’ll have the chance to develop a varied skill set, including time-management, communication and project coordination working closely with professionals possessing diverse backgrounds and skill sets within real estate development.

Key Responsibilities are: Collaborating with the team to see the design through from concept to installation on site; Handling suppliers, assisting in selecting materials, finishes, colours, and furnishings; Managing external designers and contractors; Gathering information, providing updates, and looking for solutions when needed; Visiting project sites to assess progress, addressing issues, and ensuring design intent is being realised during construction.

Increasingly busy with lots of exciting new projects starting they are looking for a new mid-weight to senior Interior Designer to join their team and work on projects from concept to completion. You will be working in a bright and modern multidisciplinary design studio with client meeting and design rooms located in the heart of the Town Centre with good access to main road links (A3 / A31 / M25). Hours are 9:00am to 5.00pm (Monday-Friday).

Main Duties include: Managing projects independently or as part of a team; Preparation of detailed and accurate drawings, designs, plans and schemes; Taking responsibility for multiple projects from concept through to installation and styling; Producing accurate schedules for manufacturers; Sourcing and specifying products in line with set client budgets; Producing comprehensive and professional branded mood boards for presentations to clients; Liaising with clients and managing on-site installation.
Experience of running large-scale projects in the high-end residential sector.

With strong technical drawing skills using VectorWorks (plus EstiMac an advantage) you’ll have a great eye for design and colour, with good 3D and spatial awareness. Proficient in MS Office Suite for Mac you’ll have the ability to visualise concepts and communicate them to others. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and visual) will be needed as the job will involve dealing with clients or suppliers, either in person or over the phone. You’ll possess the ability to create and develop conceptual designs that would seamlessly integrate with their portfolio including the skill of using colour and texture with great attention to detail. Lastly a strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers will also be needed.

They are able to provide the market with the most extensive design studio and largest full time work force on offer nationwide and are currently recruiting for a Client Account Manager. Based partly from home and partly from their offices in Cheshire, you will be developing, delivering and maintaining interior design initiatives and solutions in support of Client satisfaction whilst remaining commercially aware and driven within your niche area of focus.

Key responsibilities are to: Maintain and maximise client yield across established pipelines; Build client sales in Business Development independently and across the wider Account Management team; Clearly communicate and problem solve with cross departmental Management Team; Demonstrate a clear knowledge of your commercial priorities and responsibilities; Build strong rapport with existing clients, new customers and internal colleagues.

You’ll have 5+ years' project management sales experience within the interior design industry for property developers and ideally previous experience as an interior designer. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentational) are expected and you’ll be able to operate self-sufficiently in a principally field based role. Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive with good computer literacy you’ll possess strong lead generation and business development skills. A full UK driving licence will also be needed.

Every successful project is the result of a dedicated team of highly skilled and motivated individuals, and it is within this team that they are currently seeking an Architectural Assistant to join. The role of Architectural Assistant will be a hybrid of home and office based, working as part of a team and also independently. They are looking for an architectural assistant, with at least 3+ years’ experience. This would be a permanent position with 3-month probation period.

You will be: Producing working drawings and drawing packs as required; Making statutory applications for Building Regulations / Planning / Listed Buildings / Advertising / Licensing / Warrants; Liaising with statutory bodies and following through on applications; Producing Pavement Licence drawings and ‘As-Built’ drawings for inclusion within Health & Safety files; Managing own workload on an individual project basis to comply with workload plan; Researching and keeping up to date with new architectural products and all relevant Building Regulation requirements; Carry out measured drawing of building surveys.

With experience in Architecture and proficiency in AutoCAD you’ll have a working knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations along with use of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (including Design Risk Assessments). You’ll need strong communication and presentation skills as well as lateral thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to multitask & strong time management skills will also be needed alongside strong attention to detail and consistency in drawing work to produce high quality drawings.

Their services include architectural design, shopfitting, interior design, surveying, landscaping and structural design internationally. With offices internationally, their London office currently have two vacancies, one for a Senior and one for a Middleweight Interior Designer.

As an Interior Designer you will be working from concept to completion. This will include formulating design ideas and working closely with other team members, sharing your interest in past styles, detailing and antiques, as well as understanding current trends. They work Monday to Thursday in the office with an option to work from home on Fridays.

With 4+ years’ professional experience in high-end residential or hospitality you’ll have the ability to present design concepts and ideas with confidence and passion. Able to produce schedules and specifications you’ll need exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of materials, finishes & detailing. Good time-management and organisational skills will also be needed as well as the ability to deliver conceptual design ideas, bespoke technical designs drawings and FF&E selection.
