Just over an hour after arriving at the Weymouth check point I made the seriously hard decision at 58k to end my walk. I'm absolutely gutted but for my health I just couldn't push myself anymore. I've literally struggled to walk to the coach even. Believe me I have absolutely tried my best and am absolutely gutted to have to withdraw. Thank you for your kind messages and support. Training is well underway for the Ultra 100k. A bit wet and muddy however. Only 8 weeks until Jurassic Ultra 2024 and currently raised 46% of my total goal of £575. I'm doing this walk for Pete Barnes 'Barno' who I'm sure would be really proud of me doing this for the charity he chose.
