They did great doing a shell hunt and making their own 'lunettes de soleil' 😎 Bravo 👏

Lots of fun this morning practicing colours and bugs! They enjoyed using the poms poms to be 'les araignées' 🕷️ and we used the colourful ribbons for the rainbow song 🌈 They were great at finding the correct butterfly colour too 🦋. Bravo 👏

Lots of fun at our after school class practicing bugs and colours. They enjoyed singing about colours in the rainbow and doing a butterfly hunt. Bravo 👏👏

Monday morning fun French class! We practiced bugs and colours and they did great singing to all the songs. They made 'un papillon' 🦋 and enjoyed using the ribbons to make 'un arc-en-ciel' 🌈
Some friends missing today but they did great. Bravo!

Lots of fun learning about garden friends. We practised songs about different bugs and birds 🐦🐞🕷️🐛 They did a bug hunt using tweezers to pick up the bugs and say them in French. Great listening too! Bravo 👏👏

Lots of shopping fun today at the Wednesday morning class. They did great finding items in the story and they had to search for items on their shopping list 🛒😁 I was really impressed with how many foods they remembered. Bravo 👏

I love working with all these local nurseries and preschools. The nursery sessions are really fun and interactive and the children are always so excited when I arrive each week 😁🇫🇷

The weekly fun French sessions are carefully planned with a new theme but we repeat key words which helps the children to remember words and boosts their memory and listening skills.
This also helps their confidence with reinforcing English words too.
We use props, stories, songs and games to keep the sessions engaging and fun. They also do a colouring to take home too 👏

They were great at learning the word 'une glace' 🍦and some ice cream flavours.
They enjoyed seeing Peppa pig choose her favourite flavour and listened really well to the story. Bravo 👏

Have you often heard the phrase 'children are like little sponges?' This is so true with language learning. Children are brilliant at mimicking sounds, repeating words and soaking them up! 😁

This is why Les Petits Pois Fun French classes are perfect for young children. Most experts say the younger the better to learn a language. By the age of three, a child's brain is twice as active as an adults brain making them perfect for learning a new skill like a new language!

During our fun French sessions, children use all their senses to explore the language, whether it's listening to a story, dancing and singing to our unique and catchy songs, touching props, playing games or making a craft. It's all learning but in a fun way. Our classes are carefully planned that they are so busy having fun that they don't even realise they are learning! 👏😁

Language learning is great for improving communication and boosting confidence, the children are so thrilled when they remember French words. The repetition of words is essential as the more they are exposed to the language, the more they remember. Each week, we sing the 'Bonjour' song and say our rhyme to wake up 'Monsieur et Madame Pois.' This helps them remember key words and get used to the format of the class.

If all these reasons aren't enough, it's also a great opportunity for you to learn some French alongside your little one. Each week, the children will make a craft linked to the theme so you can take home and practice together. 😁🇫🇷
