Implementing a DEI strategy for the first time in 2024? Make sure to follow our top 3 tips for success:
1️⃣ Gather and analyse data, regularly and thoroughly. Examining data from your entire employee lifecycle – not just cherrypicked areas - can shed light on potential opportunities for growth and improvement.
2️⃣ Involve your wider team in the planning. Collecting everyone’s thoughts and feedback (anonymously, if you wish) before officially launching your strategy can again highlight focus areas you may have missed and add nuance to your DEI goals.
3️⃣ Just like any other business decision, monitoring and accountability are vital to understand if your strategy is progressing successfully. Set specific, measurable expectations – such as KPIs - for the return on your DEI investment.
