all weather permitting. selling starts 9.30 at all bootfairs.

( keep on main rd we are not in the industrial estate - 800 meters past,
we are in a field on your left if your coming from whitstable towards Herne Bay)

‼️UNFORTUNATELY LARGE UMBRELLAS AND GAZEBOS CAN NOT BE PUT UP WITHOUT SPECIFIC INSURANCE FOR THEM WHICH WILL NEED TO BE SHOWN TO MARSHALLS ‼️

THIS IS HOW WE WORK
NO BOOKING REQUIRED - just turn up
OPENING TIMES - we open every Wednesday Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer always weather permitting - any cancellations will be announced on our page either the night before or as early as possible on the day
‼️Please be aware messages and texts are hard to answer on the day as we are working ‼️
SELLERS can arrive from 7.30 am onwards & go straight to your pitch, but will have to wait until 8.30 to set up and strictly 9.30 to sell - there will not be any buyers on the field until 9.30.
your pitch fee is £6 - for 20 ft apx.
(If you have a large van on a single pitch it my not be possible to use the back doors therefore you will need to use the side door only or have a double pitch )
A 40ft apx double pitch is £15.

ALL SELLERS ARE ASKED TO STAY BY THIER Pitch ~ until 9.30 unless using the loo or the burger wagon - so staff can determine who are sellers and who’s buyers - it helps us to help you have peace to set up.

BUYERS can also arrive early BUT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON TO SELLERS FIELD UNTIL 9.30.
Please have 50p ready to park ( per car)
The Bootfaire usual ends between 12.30 and 1.30
DOGS - Well behaved dogs are welcome but owners must poo pick and keep them on SHORT leads AT ALL TIMES and be aware that they are not peeing on sellers goods 😱

NO FOOD SELLING OF ANY KIND WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT.
This includes fruit & veg, cakes, sweets, canned foods , drinks ect .
Any consent’s will be verified by a text message only !!
REFRESHMENTS
TEA/ FOOD WAGON opens 7.30 for drinks food will be available from around 8.00 ish.
‼️NO SELLING OF FOOD OR DRINK OF ANY DESCRIPTION WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION
CHARITIES
- need to book their space by requesting by text 3 days before bootfair ,and show their conformation text when asked ( five free charity spaces per bootfair)

DUE TO ARISING ISSUES WE FELT THE NEED TO ADRESS A FEW POINTS !!!

1-VAN AND OUR 20 FOOT PITCH IT IS BECOMING AN ISSUE -
When an 18 foot and longer van is trying to fit in to a 20 foot pitch which is fine until they say we need to open the back doors to unload and expect to use 3 or 4 foot of the neighbouring pitch which is not ok.
If you have a 18,foot or 20,foot van and can unload from the side door all good if not you will need a double pitch @£15.
If this doesn’t work for you respectfully there are other bootfairs .
All Luton vans are a double pitch.

2- THE FIELD MUST BE CLEAR OF SELLERS BY 3pm NO EXCEPTIONS.

3- end pitches - people requesting an end pitches will need to stay within there pitch and not use an end pitch to try and gain an extra 3 or 4 foot.

Our policy on Pitch fee payments
We excepted 50p £1 £2 £5 £10 or £20 change given ,as payments for pitches .
We will not expect 2p 5p 10p or 20p as payment.as we do not have time to count £6 off small coins .we hope you appreciate our reasons for this post .
