My hedgehog feeding bowl π¬.
Wondering if trying to feed hedgehogs is actually the best way to keep the bΒ£ # off my plants !
Just love this trolley of plants.
Wish it was for my garden π
It's baby season.
Not helpful Norman ! I'm trying to plant just there !
Planted these bulbs to bring some temporary colour to an unused bed.
Most have gone over but it was lovely to see these jewel like colours still singing in our first visit back this year π
A different puppa assisting works today .
Welcome Pimms πΎ
There's a lucky client out there getting this lovely lot delivered & planted next week ππ
First job of the year & I have a Norman helping
Herbie Hedgehog Rescue (who I'm sure many of you know we heavily support ) are holding a coffee morning to raise vitally needed funds this Sunday morning at Stokes Farm Barn (where we heavily garden π) 10am-noon
There will be the usual homemade coffee morning fayre plus books , plants & some lovely gifts on sale for this excellent cause !
We will also have hedgehog feeding stations & houses on display to show the sort of thing that can be done to help these lovely & endangered creatures.
Please do pop along & support this charity & tell your friends & family about it
Thank you ππ¦π¦.
Trying a new pink & orange scheme lead by this lovely agastache, but I have the feeling the geranium is The Wrong Pink ! π¬π¬
Just about to start planting this lovely lot ...a chilled little something would help ! π₯΅π₯
Please don't forget to water ... Especially thirsty plants (eg relatively new trees /shrubs ) or newly planted plants π
My poor mum is still in hospital after a nasty accident (over 2 months now) and is missing her garden .
Luckily my brother was able to take her in a little sample of what's blooming at the moment. She is so pleased.
My boots today ...muddy, worn out & just a little bit past their prime π€π€π€
I've just released this beautiful boy (Wilbur) in my garden (with somewhere to sleep & a daily re-stocked feeding station ) after he has been rehabilitated (thank you) by Herbie Hedgehog Rescue.
Here he is , taking his first sniffs of fresh air, after a lengthy recovery .
We are so lucky to have these about - they are already extinct in many places.
Please remember they are about , even when you don't see them & if you do see one 'sunbathing' in this lovely weather, it is NOT, it is in deep trouble & needs urgent help.
I will no doubt bore you with more hedgehog stuff as the season progresses - I am admittedly obsessed !
A reminder for those of you who are local that its the plant sale fund raiser for Herbies Hedgehog Rescue in Maiden Place, Lower Early tomorrow (sat 13th) morning.
I have prepped up quite a few houseplants to go .
Please come along & support an amazing cause π¦πΉ
A gentle reminder. .. This Saturday ! I have houseplants prepped & ready to go π

Happy Christmas!
It's a frosty one !
Keep off the grass if possible & put out water & food for the wildlife - they can't drink or dog for food in this.
(Ps ...they can't DIG either ! π)
Wet and windy last week
Hoping for something a bit better as we wind down heading for Christmas
Highly recommend this course - the only one of its kind in the country - and it's very inexpensive. The content & delivery were excellent .
One day make over for this front /side border of a new build .
The brief: either a hedge or something low maintenance that won't grow tall (ie over fence height ) .
As these fill in out there should be some lovely colour & texture (and very little maintenance) ..
A few hundred bulbs (beautifully packed !) & a new auger which I hope will help with the planting . A busy week ahead !
I know I'm not the tallest but my 'smart'watch just suggested I "try standing up".
I was standing up ! π¦
It was very wet out there again!
This is the pile of gloves I got through today . It's always more when it's wet but this is particularly impressive!
No they are not all in matching pairs but garden gloves are like socks in the wash - one of the pair keeps disappearing . The ratio of left hands to right hands in my glove-robe is now 5:1. It's a mystery π€π
