We’re the group of more than a hundred local people – unpaid trustees, volunteers and paid staff– who are driving a vision for Brymbo’s heritage to be at the centre of our

A highlight of the four pit dig to create space for the foundations of the building that will be going up over the fossil forest so work can start.
Brilliant morning down in the Fossil Forest for our staff team. It’s great to give everyone an opportunity to take part in the dig, we’ll all have a better understanding and appreciation for each part of the interesting story behind Stori Brymbo 😃
Pauline kindly sent this old newspaper clipping over, great niece of Tom Howell, pictured near the bottom.

What an incredible week! 🎉 Our team took the exciting steps from our offices at Enterprise Centre down onto the heritage site, marking the start of an amazing next chapter now that we have the green light 🚦🥳
As you can see, we're all thrilled and super motivated! 😃 With the youngest of the team on holiday, he got to be our Teletubby baby sun, sending some rays over to Brymbo for this special moment!

🌟 Happy World Volunteer Day! 🌟
A tremendous thank you to each and every one of our incredible volunteers! Your passion, dedication, and hard work make a world of difference to the Brymbo Heritage Project. Together, we're creating something truly amazing and unique. It’s great that we can share this journey (all 314 million years of it) with truly dedicated individuals.
We have people on the ground helping within the Heritage & Fossil Fossil Area, different locations across the local community projects and even behind the scenes in the office.
Our full board of Trustees are all voluntary and many of them are also highly engaged in the practical hands-on volunteering as well.
Then everyone pulls together when we have events to share our vision and story with the public.
Today, we celebrate YOU! 🙌🧡 On behalf of the Brymbo Heritage Trust team, thank you very much 🌟🤩
Here are some pictures of our volunteers in action over the past year!
