“Characters awry.” I originally posted this a while ago the wrong way round. By now, you’ve probably noticed I don’t do things strictly the normal way around. I notice a lot of my art can be viewed upside down, and hold a different meaning. Maybe I should just organise an exhibition with half the needed pieces, but with an equal amount of mirrors. Call it “Weksa yldilw - mondo reflectus”. 🤷‍♂️

Transparent Pandemia I would regularly come back to this piece, wondering what it was i wanted to achieve. And all the while, i never realised how transparent it was until after the first few months. We could all see it happening for years to come. This time it unfolded in front of us, and even though we know its there,

“Writers Unblock”. Things in art are sent to undo us, instead of trying us or judging us. “People don’t write if people don’t pay” and not all art is for sale. But what the worth is, is undoing the block that stops your being from creating. After all that hard work, sometimes it’s the right time to rearrange things so they can carry on, with as little suffering as possible.

“Quick doodle, lost in the w(h)ind. Minds adrift...it seems. Happy new number to all beings. Don’t quit the dreams. Nothing is what it’s becoming...” is it’s title.

“Unknown Presence” is a piece of I don’t knows, covered by the embers of blue and red. It’s distinguishing how you can only know the fact that you don’t know, whilst the unknown continues to come from all angles.
Random done on a3, and it keeps catching my eye. I must have been in some sort of dilemma/headspin whilst creating it.

“To begin is also to end.” Part of an A5 unfinished. Plans to use different techniques and more colours. I like how sometimes when it’s half finished, it almost looks in retrospect as though it could be finished. But, like so many things, to begin (refinish) is also to end another part. Balance is necessary.

“A duck with one wing, stuck in the river; a downward stream.” On guard and deliver it from evil, the message it brings, is written on silver and gold. Retrieval of the soul. Slow down and don’t let the water rush you, built and made to sink you below.

Human Transmogrification. A signal that the times are changing, and at a much quicker rate. We must adapt before we become beaten down and forgotten about by their manipulation.
“Change is good, but s**t is always the same. Every time we look up, we’re back in time.”

Here is a sneaky preview of the works I’m going to have printed. I decided to picked a few of the ones I have done over the last three years...every picture has no pre-determination on what it’s going to look like by the end. (One day soon I’ll do a time lapse/live draw to prove it)

Unfortunately, a couple of the pieces over time, have become a bit warped, so I’m not sure if they will be able to print 100% ok...if not, I have a couple of backups done this year to compensate just in case.

Prices TBA. All hopefully come with the choice of a frame or without. Everything will be hand delivered locally for free, or it will be 30p per mile if you live outside of Yeovil (from the centre).

Getting some pieces together that I haven’t put on social media yet, and will hopefully be ready for sale next week. 🥳
Doing them in a range of a3, a4 and a5.
Some will be limited, and there will also be a couple of conceptual ranges to choose from.
Prices unknown as of yet until I can sort out a solution for the frames. Might even make some of my own.

“Speech Unless You’re Spoken Through”. We all have a voice, but we are not a product of someone else’s perception, and therefore should only speak for ourselves; the eternal “us”.

“The Devils Chair”. As intriguing as it seems, I do regularly walk past....but never in the flesh.

“Lizard/Snail/Slug - Blake the Lizsnug”. An afternoon of messing around with colours, refining and recording my process. Still unfinished....arent we al just combinations of several beings?

“Face of the Sky” with no filter. Really loving the abstract photography process and keeping everything as natural as possible.

“Physkal Breakdown”, call of what you will. It’s colourful, but it will wear your down.

“Too Much Information Part 1”. I feel at most times lacking of mental energy, whilst having surges of it. This a4 picture expresses the cracks inside, the ones that fill you with sadness and pride. Too much too handle.

“Writers Block - Energy Opposed”. This one done on a3, was when I had writers block in regards to music. Like a magnet, the more you try to find something exact, the less you do/attract.

“Shoe Boat Sassoon” (In a Scottish accent). This is an oldie a5, plenty of abstract feelings. Felt like a holiday of holidays. We all wear shoes.

Before and After. Painting with myself but with a different frame of mind. The art is still the same, but the intricacies are a must. Next stage colour.

One of the oldest yet. A5 one line minimalist abstract. You are what you one way, don’t surpress it. It only goes...and yes repeat.
