Fantastic Feasts and Where to Find Them #29

S’cone, the fastest cake in the world (unless you say scone as in ‘cone’ - then the joke doesn’t work!) 💨

I recently wand-ered over to Parlormade Cafe and Scone House to try their ice-cream scone - a warm fresh scone filled with clotted cream ice-cream, topped with fruit and drizzled with sauce. 😋

The verdict? SO good, it was almost Scone in 60 Seconds! Ever eat something that just makes you really, really happy?! This did the trick! 🤩

I sat on the top floor in the Eaves Room overlooking Shambles Market York, just off the main - the starting point for my Wizard Walk! 🧙‍♂️

Parlormade offer an impressive range of scones in various flavours, as well as other treats like a sumptuous warm chocolate brownie. Plenty of hot drinks too, my cappuccino was a great accompaniment…or you might opt for a more classic pot of tea! 🫖

Find Parlormade at 1 Little Shambles. Highly recommended, a taste of pure magic! 🪄

Great news! Parlormade Scone House will reopen on Saturday 2nd July. We very much look forward to welcoming all our lovely customers back again. We are excited!!!
