Proper warm-ups prepare your muscles and joints for physical activity, reducing the risk of injuries and enhancing performance. Try the following exercises for an effective warm-up!
π’ Light Sogging - Start with a 5 - 10 minute gentle job around the pitch.
π’ Dynamic Stretches - Perform dynamic stretches to increase your flexibility. Leg swings, arm circles, and hip rotations are excellent choices.
π’ Lunges - Step forward into a lunge, keeping your knee at a 90-degree angle and your back straight. Alternate legs and repeat 10-15 times.
π’ High Knees - Stand in place and march while lifting your knees as high as possible. Do this for 30 seconds to a minute.
π’ Side Shuffles - Perform lateral movements by shuffling sideways. Do this in each direction for 30 seconds.
π’ Skipping - Skip in place or across the field for 2-3 minutes.
