A great team and a great community to get involved in. For all the women out there this is a great way of both keeping fit and meeting a great group of girls.
Happy St Patrick's day every one. Yorkshire Sports Injury was lucky enough to get the chance to work at the London Irish community rugby tournaments over the past few years with St Mary's University, Twickenham. Although there was no event this year, these have always been a pleasure to work out.
Happy International women's day. Thank you to all the women and girls out there who work hard to make our job easier. Women are still massively under represented especially in sport but some great work is going on into closing that gap. Please watch this webinar hosted by BT Sports's Sarra Elgan on Women in sport https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VJnAbQZGTw. BT Sport is also bringing you 24 hours of back to back women's sport to recognise the lack of coverage of women's sport around the world.

World Rugby has taken the unfortunate decision today to recommend the postponement on the Woman’s Rugby World Cup until next year. This is definitely the right decision and we support world rugby, as safety is always at the heart of everything we do. Read more here ➡️ https://bit.ly/2MCYJRM

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Chiropractic 1st for all their help and support over the past few months. It was great to work with guys at chiropractic 1st allowing us to reach and provide our services to more people. Due to current events with George starting his masters degree we have had to end our partnership with Chiropractic 1st to allow time to focus on education. We will however be continuing with our home appointments. We thank Chiropractic 1st and wish them all the best in the future.
We are proud to announce that from next week George will undergoing a MSc in Physiotherapy at York St. john University. This is the next step in our journey allowing us to expand our knowledge and help more people.
As a result we will be reducing our service but will still be offering our home visits from Friday to Monday.
We have just completed our application to be part of the team to role out the Covid-19 vaccines over the next year. This is another opportunity to help our local community and help take the strain off the NHS
The weather has finally allowed us to get a game in. Hopefully we won’t see to many ankles sliding around today. Good luck boys!

Very busy these last few weeks. Thank you everyone for your support.
Today we featured in the Yorkshire Post in an article about how young people people like myself are making the most of the lack of opportunity during the lockdown.
The Lockdown has been hard on everyone and caused the unemployment rate to soar but as long as we keep a good mental outlook and look at what we can do rather than what we can’t, we can survive.
We will eventually see the back of this virus and it is important that we look ahead and don’t let the virus get us down.
If you missed the article you can read it online at the link below.

How young people in Yorkshire are dealing with a lack of opportunities in the wake of coronavirus pandemic Ambitions for many of the nation's young people turned to scorched earth as opportunities vanished before they could be grasped.
Yorkshire Sports Injury will be taking part in Operation Bletchley this Christmas to raise money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity. As a special offer we are giving £10 off your next treatment for all donations over £5. To donate please follow the link below https://events.soldierscharity.org/fundraisers/georgestocker10441/operation-bletchley.
Operation Bletchley involves walking 24 miles in 12 days starting from boxing day. Decrypting clues every 2 miles to crack the hidden message. This is a great way to get you and the kids walking and out of the house as well as being a good way to to burn off any post Christmas weight. This is also a great way to keep the mind active during this time as well as doing it for a great cause. To get more information on how you can get involved yourself, follow the link below. https://events.soldierscharity.org/event/view/operation-bletchley
It's competition time!!!!!
This week we are giving away 2 free sports massages.
With the country going back into lock down a sports massage is one of the best ways to keep your muscles in tip top condition for when we finally emerge from lockdown.
All you have to do is like and share this post to be in with a chance of winning.
Good Luck everyone
Congratulations to both the men’s and women’s England rugby teams for becoming 6 nations champions. A special well done for the women’s team who secured a grand slam win in Italy.
In light of the announcement from the Prime Minister yesterday. We wanted to reassure everyone that we will be staying open during the November lockdown. This includes both our home visits as well as our York based clinic.
Traveling for injury treatment and health care is considered essential travel and we are making sure we are complying with all current guidelines both from the government as well as our governing body BASRaT.
