Η Aστική Μη Κερδοσκοπική Εταιρεία «Βελονιστές χωρίς Σύνορα-Ελλάδας»
δημιουργήθηκε από θεραπευτές κινέζικης ιατρικής το 2020 και έχει σαν στόχο την ανάληψη και πραγματοποίηση μη κερδοσκοπικών δράσεων που επικεντρώνονται στον βελονισμό, την κινέζικη ιατρική και άλλες φυσικές θεραπευτικές τέχνες. Οι δράσεις αυτές απευθύνονται σε κοινότητες που έχουν πληγεί από πολέμους, φτώχεια, κοινωνική αδικία και περιβαλλοντικές καταστροφές.

Το Κοινωνικό Κέντρο Ολιστικών Θεραπειών ALMA
Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2021 δημιουργήσαμε και ξεκίνησε να λειτουργεί το κέντρο ALMA.
Το Κέντρο ALMA είναι ένα κοινωνικό κέντρο όπου προσφέρονται δωρεάν ολιστικές θεραπείες και βρίσκεται κοντά στην πλατεία Βικτωρίας.
Εκεί υποδεχόμαστε πρόσφυγες, αιτούντες άσυλο, αλλά και ανθρώπους όλων των ηλικιών και εθνικοτήτων που βρίσκονται σε ανάγκη με σκοπό την ανακούφιση από το μετατραυματικό στρες PTSD, τις διαταραχές ύπνου, τα ψυχολογικά τραύματα και τη διαχείριση του σωματικού και ψυχικού πόνου γενικότερα. Σε συνεργασία με τοπικές κοινωνικές οργανώσεις, το κέντρο ALMA φιλοδοξεί να διαμορφώσει έναν ασφαλή θεραπευτικό χώρο, όπου κοινότητες και μεμονωμένα άτομα θα μπορούν να ακουστούν, να βρουν ισορροπία και να αναπτύξουν ανθεκτικότητα, ώστε να μπορέσουν να διασχίσουν τις δύσκολες καταστάσεις και την έλλειψη πόρων που αντιμετωπίζουν.

Παρεχόμενες υπηρεσίες:

● Εξατομικευμένες θεραπευτικές συνεδρίες βελονισμού, ρεφλεξολογίας, βοτανοθεραπείας, βεντουζοθεραπείας, σιάτσου και μάλαξης.

● Εβδομαδιαίοι κύκλοι NADA συνεδριών.

● Εργαστήρια αυτοφροντίδας για διάφορα θέματα υγείας που σχετίζονται με τη διαχείριση του άγχους, την αϋπνία, τις ημικρανίες, το κοινό κρυολόγημα, το μασάζ μωρών, και πολλά άλλα. Στα εργαστήρια αυτά μαθαίνουμε σημεία ρεφλεξολογίας, αυτομάλαξης, συμβουλές διατροφής, βότανα, ασκήσεις αναπνοής και σωματικές ασκήσεις που μπορούμε να εφαρμόζουμε στον εαυτό μας και τους οικείους μας.

Οι δράσεις μας βασίζονται στην αλληλεγγύη και με αυτόν τον γνώμονα κάθε συνεισφορά είναι σημαντική.

This year WFAS 2021 International Symposium on Acupuncture-Moxibustion will be held 16-
18 November 2021 in Zhuhai China. With the theme “TCM Acupuncture-Moxibustion
Contributes to Building a Global Community of Health for All”, the Symposium intends to
build a platform for exchanges of latest data, views and expert experience as well as information
of regulations, technologies and services in terms of acupuncture-moxibustion of traditional
Chinese medicine, featuring its role in building a global community of health for all and its
unique value as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Meanwhile, online forums
featuring North America, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe will be held welcoming those who
cannot attend the on-site conference.

Dear Members, Colleagues, and Friends,

This summer was not as relaxing as it should have been.

The continued restriction of the Covid pandemic has hindered the free movement of the Fire element. I have observed that individuals are feeling more lonely and isolated and are experiencing more states of anxiety and depression (major symptoms due to lack of fire). Therefore, they are more in need of TCM treatment on the shen level. And we, as the practitioners, can certainly benefit from the support of our associations which brings fire and unity.

At the ETCMA, we didn't rest much at all this summer. The whole of the Executive Committee (EC) continued to meet and work all during the traditional vacation time. We have been very involvedwith the internal process of regulation, corporate rebranding, and the international projects of mutual exchange and communication.

This summer, we initiated a Research Task Force (RTF) that is moving forward with uploading on the active member’s ‘shared drive’ some new research and One-Pagers. I urge you to look inside and make use of it.

A special Team of Editors Task Force (ETF) was formed by the Communication Department to share and exchange publishing content. Soon, we will create a shared drive ‘image bank’ where we will collect high quality images for use by all of our member societies to use as they need in their promotional & published materials.

In July, we held our Annual European School Leaders Day (ESLD) and discussed a common core curriculum and teaching methodologies. This was a very successful event with a great turn out of school leaders who want to move towards a higher and more unified European educational accreditation and certification for the profession.

On the European level, we were actively involved with EURO-CAM, and will be updating you soon about the opportunities for European Parliament & lobbying.

On an International level we were very active in meeting with key leaders to create a global strategy in a new start in Traditional Medicine (TM) research. You will hear more from us on this exciting new initiative, I hope soon.

I would like to remind you that we, at the ETCMA, are open to any of your thoughts, wishes, and ideas for topics for our up and coming Leadership Webinars to be scheduled very soon. Our goal is to promote leadership and support leadership on all levels in order to strengthen our profession.

I wish you an insightful autumn and I would also like to thank the EC for their continued hard work in serving all of you.

Please, let me finish with a Māori phrase which I received and I thought it touches upon something core: “Kia kaha, Kia atawhai” Meaning... (Be Strong and Be Kind) .

Times are changing at a rapid speed, and we want to keep up with the innovative ways information is being transmitted to get our message out to make progressive changes happen in the European World of TCM.



Therefore, we are seeking a leader who is on the cutting edge of communication technology. For a brief description of the competencies and responsibilities for the role, please see below.

Communication Department: Role Description



They will be the leader responsible for the ongoing development of the Communication Committee.



Competencies:



· Good Command of the English language – both written and spoken

· Proficient in the use of Google (G-Mail Suite) Email, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Shared Google Drives, Microsoft Office/Word, Zoom, etc.

· Great Communication and Creative Leadership Skills

· Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Etc.

· Accountability to work with deadlines and timelines.



Responsibilities



· Production of an engaging Quarterly ETCMA Newsletter

· Maintenance of our new (coming soon) upgraded website and update content on Member’s Pages.

· Develop, implement, and execute successful strategies for marketing campaigns to promote ETCMA internationally (videos, interviews, articles, social media, etc.)

· Content Creation & Copy Writing

· Lead the newly established “Team of Editors” Task Force

· Website Performance Analysis and Target Groups

· Coordinate TCM Awareness Week

· Manage Budget authorized by the financial committee.

· Attend the monthly EC Meeting (first Monday of every month)

· Attend 3 Face-To-Face EC Meetings per year. (To be scheduled)



There will be a handover training period with our current EC Department Leader. Yearly remuneration is included in addition to managing a yearly budget.
