Hang Lung Mathematics Awards (HLMA) proudly presents a panel discussion titled “From Lab to Life: How Science Rewrites the World”, featuring Prof. David Ho (何大一), who transformed HIV from a fatal infection into a manageable disease, and Prof. Dennis Lo (盧煜明), who discovered fetal DNA in maternal blood plasma and revolutionized prenatal testing and cancer screening. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Stephanie Ma (馬桂宜), Assistant Dean of Innovation and Technology Transfer in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong.'

The USC Alumni Association (Hong Kong) hosted the annual SCend Off event on July 13th to welcome incoming students and parents to the Trojan Family! New students were able to talk to current students of the USC HK Students Association for advice, while alumni shared their experiences and offered mentorship.

With free food, refreshments and a lively community, it was a great way for the Trojan community to connect before classes start. The event was a huge success, bringing together the Hong Kong Trojans to support the next generation joining the USC Family! Fight on! ✌️
