Almost every Hongkonger has a favorite fish ball vendor. Bouncy and fluffy, the best Hong Kong-style fish balls are made with freshly ground fish paste, hand-beaten and slammed to springy perfection. It’s commonly enjoyed on a stick with spicy curry sauce.
Ippudo
Ippudo provides a variety of Japanese ramen with different toppings. The ramen here is delicious, the noodles are chewy and the toppings are fresh and juicy. The broth is incredibly sweet and the topping is rich, including the juicy pork loin, bean sprouts, kikurage and spring onions. The interior of Ippudo is designed in a traditional Japanese style with lovely paintings and ornaments put up as decorations.

Dining At Shang Palace
Shang Palace, a luxurious restaurant located in the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, has been regarded as a Michelin two-star restaurant for seven consecutive years. They specialize in Cantonese cuisine, but their dishes are not as traditional as other restaurants as they strive for the new and innovative; as a result, this makes the venue an attractive choice for diners. Dishes are all finely decorated and the food is exquisite. Combined with a relaxing ambiance, Shang Palace is a fine choice to dine out in.

7. Mini Egg Puffs
Sweetened egg batter grilled in a mold to make puffs. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. These days it comes in a range of flavors, including chocolate, strawberry, and coconut.

Three stuffed treasures
Although they’re called the ‘three treasures’, there are actually more than three varieties. Freshly minced dace is stuffed into sliced eggplants, green peppers, tofu puffs, smoked red sausage or mushrooms and then grilled on a griddle. Enjoy with soy sauce or chili oil.

Kimberley Road is a very popular street in Tsim Sha Tsui as a lot of unique restaurants with plenty of character can be found there. The street, also known as Korean Street and Little Korea is famous for the saturation of Korean restaurants and grocery stores which provide Hong Kong with the most authentic Korean cuisine. You can have different types of Korean food there, including the Korean BBQ, the Orthodox Korean set meal, and innovative multicultural cuisines. The very famous Korean BBQ spot, Seorae, is also located on the street.

Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier
Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier, also known as the Star Ferry Pier, is one of the most important landmarks in the district. The star ferries have been carrying passengers from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island since the 1880s. Although many new road and rail systems have been established, people still love taking the ferry as it allows passengers to take an up-close look at the stunning harbor, which is a significant aspect of Hong Kong culture.

7. Wife Cake
A bun filled with sweet winter melon paste. Legend has it that when the winter melon puffs made by a woman in Guangdong province were highly praised in public, her husband proudly declared that they were his wife’s cakes. The name ‘wife cake’ stuck. In Hong Kong, back when the New Territories was a day trip away from the urban areas, it was de rigeur for visitors to Yuen Long to buy wife cakes to take home. Today, they can be easily purchased at Chinese bakery shops citywide.
