HAIL THE GOAT! 🐐

We’ve teamed up with THE (Scotland) to make this special wild tropical sour with Lychee and Jasmine! Our Head Brewer was in Scotland last year finishing his Masters while he sneaked in this collab.

Primary fermented with Holy Goat’s most tropical blend of Brettanomyces strained, they have refermented this beer with roughly 100g/l of lychee in addition to whole jasmine blossoms added directly into the fermenter, along with a hot jasmine blossom tea blended into the beer after refermentation.

The subtle tropical, melon, pear characteristics of the Lychee meld well with Holy Goat’s tropical yeast character whilst the jasmine adds a delicate floral flavour which is both sweet and refreshing.

我哋同蘇格蘭嘅Holy Goat 合釀咗呢一款特別加入咗荔枝同茉莉花嘅野生酵母熱帶酸啤,!我哋嘅釀酒師 上年喺蘇格蘭完成碩士學位其間就同佢哋完成咗呢款合釀。

呢款啤酒首先以Holy Goat熱帶氣息嘅酒香酵母進行發酵,然後加入大約100克/升嘅荔枝,再將原朵茉莉花加入發酵缸,並喺發酵後加入熱泡嘅茉莉花茶。

荔枝帶出了熱帶、蜜瓜同梨嘅氣息,同Holy Goat嘅熱帶酵母特性完美融合,而茉莉花就添加咗幽幽嘅花香,甜香又清新。

Seven essentials to a good life is an ancient Chinese philosophy that Black Kite is harnessing to create a beer that defines the flavour of Hong Kong. Our first of the 7 Essentials that you will experience is inspired by the essential Firewood - and it’s a Char Siu Rose Dunkles Bock! 🔥🍻

Char Siu is essential to Hong Kong Culinary culture. Traditionally made with a direct fire wood stove, various spices are added into the making of Char Siu. Inspired by this rockstar of a cuisine, rose flavour, caramel and maltiness supported by clove and star anise created a perfect beer for this perfect food. 🤤🤤

Inspired by five flowered tea - a traditional healthy drink in HK, we infused the flowers: Chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, Kapok, Plumeria and Sophora flowers into a Hopfenweizen (dry hopped hefeweizen) for a floral and fruity beer with a spicy finish. 🍻

This beer is made in collaboration with , whose mission is to bring nostalgic Hong Kong maps back to life so as we have made it our mission to define Hong Kong’s Beer through art, history and flavours, we couldn’t be happier to work with Dave and his team! ❤️🙌
