Over 775,000 Irish passports issued so far this year More than 775,000 Irish passports have been issued so far this year, with current forecasts indicating that over a million will be issued by the end of 2024.

The next Irish Citizenship ceremonies are taking place on Monday 10th June and Tuesday 11th June at the INEC Killarney. Further ceremonies are taking place on Thursday 20th June and Friday 21st June 2024 at The Convention Centre Dublin.

Free Support for Migrants — Vision Community Support Services VCSS provides free community support services. Our mission is to make sure every migrant child, young person and their family receive the highest standard of support and care.

Vision Community Support Services (VCSS) is organising an African-Irish and other young migrants Youth Exhibition and Fashion Show in late June 2024.
- The event will consist of Arts, Music of all forms, display of African Attires, food, drama, story telling and dance, workshops and Vendors etc.
- ⁠Aim is to bring out talents of African youths (both boys and girls).
- ⁠we are inviting African designers to showcase their work during this event.
- ⁠ A Conference will also be held to educate African youths about the African Culture, history and heritage of people of African dissent.

This will make the process straightforward and applicants will be guided through the application process with the forms.

⚠️ Please note that the online application isn't available for Minor applications (Form 11).

Also, the new process doesn't apply to applicants who have already started their process through the post office.

The next Citizenship ceremony is set to take place on Monday 19th June 2023 and Tuesday 20th June 2023 at Killarney Convention Centre, Killarney, Co. Merry.

Since 20th of April 2023, anyone applying for certificate of naturalisation/Citizenship will need to provide only certified coloured copy of biometric page of their current passport.
The Department may decide to request applicant original passport if the need arises.
