Collection for Cork Penny Dinners

❌It's that time of year again❌
everybody is rushing to get presents, to ordering turkeys but for some it's just anxiety and stress, a burden of sorts, will they have to chose between fuel or food again this year!
We had massive success last year, the people of West cork came out in force with food donations. As everyone is aware we are still in this pandemic, so we will only be accepting new items of clothes, duvets, hats and scarfs. All food donations welcome!!!

Everyone is away of how hard life is and the pressures we are under. Currently there is 11,394 people homeless in ireland and 3,500 of them are children. We aren't aware of how many are in hidden homelessness . So many families struggling...Cork penny dinners are an amazing charity to support this Christmas so please donate non perishable food items or you can donate through revolut/ go fund me page to donate. I'll be doing a run or two to cork and they are always so grateful to see the car coming full to the brim with donations. Let's all eat a hot meal this Christmas 🎄

A list of foods that can be donated, no item too small it's for a great cause, I'll be doing my run to the city from west cork on the 23rd of December.

We had a fantastic first drop off to Cork Penny Dinners😁
Due to Hse Guidelines they aren't accepting clothes or duvets so we donated them to the clothes bank in town.
Hoping to do another run between the 15th -23rd.

Just off the phone from Clonakilty Distillery and they have decide to start collecting non-perishables for us. Great to see local businesses getting behind Charity at this time of year especially when they have been hard hit themselves.
Remember guys no amount is too small. Every item and penny counts towards feeding those in need this Christmas.
