Children's Leukaemia Association
THE OFFICIAL PAGE OF THE C.L.A. The Association has grown over the last ten years and is now a limited company and a registered charity.
It is funded totally on donations and fundraising initiatives carried out on a voluntary basis. No professional fundraisers are engaged by the Association. The Directors of the Association meet on a monthly basis and have the task of managing the Children’s Leukaemia Fund.

Last night we had the pleasure of presenting the late Sr. Fidelma's (RIP) family with a plaque which we gave her 24 yrs ago in recognition of the fantastic job she did in starting the Childrens Leukaemia ward in the Mercy Hospital with the late Dr. Seamus O' Donoghue RIP. Now that the Leukaemia unit is moving to CUH, we felt it was fitting that it should be given to the family. We were joined by Sandra nurse from unit who had sourced the plaque for us and Deirdre nurse manager from the unit . The Childrens Leukaemia Association is an independent charity and will still be available to anyone that should unfortunately need our services.
