The Hideaway Adult Glampsite is an intimate location 2kms from M**f and at the beginning of the Wild
The Hideaway has 4 beautiful eco pods and has self catering facilities as well as a shower (x2) and toilet (x2)block. It is immersed in a beautiful garden surrounded by trees and shrubs and has its own wildlife pond and ancient fairy path. Welcome to The Hideaway Glamping
Hi everyone welcome to our page. We are Jim and GrΓ‘inne , the owners of the beautiful eco adult glampsite, The Hideaway, just outside the village of M**f and at the beginning of the Wild Atlantic Way. Our site is small and intimate, being only 4 pods (max3 people per pod) immersed in nature and 50 yards from the River Foyle. We are 5 miles from the historic Walled City of Derry and at the start of the Inishowen 100, which offers breathtaking scenery and beautiful blue flag beaches including Shroove, Kinnego Bay and the fantastic 4.2km walk from Moville Shore to Greencastle.
Guests are spoiled for choice with local eateries and things to do including Wild Ireland Reserve, which is 5 minutes from our site. If you wish to be more adventurous you can partake in water activities with Inish Adventures or go for a 8.5km hike at The Inishhead Loop. Alternatively, you can visit Doagh Island Famine Village or Grianan Fort or attend one of the fabulous events in Derry such as The Jazz Festival or the popular Clipper Fest. Guests can return to The Hideaway and soak in the 7 berth Jacuzzi/spa and enjoy a glass of wine in the cosy Shebeen with its wood burning stove and full sized pool table.
On a clear night you can gaze at the stars and toast marshmallows at the firepit while listening to the waterfall trickle gently into our wildlife pond. We have an ancient fairy path that has a secret energy well where guests can make a wish and leave all their worries behind.
