This Saturday and Sunday we will be helping our neighbours up the road by providing a collection point for any non-perishable food items such as tea bags, biscuits or tinned foods as part of National Food Bank Day 2023.

Little Flower Penny Dinners is an invaluable service in the Liberties that assists and provides support to persons in need due to poverty and ill health, especially elderly and senior citizens.

Founded in 1912 they have been serving meals to people in need for over 100 years people in an environment of caring, compassion, welcoming and understanding.

Help us to help them by donating what you can this weekend at .

Dublin 8 is once again taking centre stage, as the free ‘Culture Date with Dublin 8’ festival celebrates its 5th year in what Time Out magazine refers to as one of "the coolest neighbourhoods in the world". From Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th of May, the Dublin 8 area will come alive with over 50 specially curated events including talks, walks, markets, performances and tours, perfect for locals or visitors alike!

We are hosting two special events on Sunday 14th May as part of 2023.

Next Saturday is back as we pay homeage to Ireland's own true art pop queen Róisín Murphy.

Róisín Murphy has merged pop, house and disco with an avant garde sensibility and a stunning shape shifting visual output that never ceases to provoke.

We felt there was no better purveyor of pop than the fabulous Shrem to bring the music and style of Róisín to life.

Shrem () is a Dublin-based Polish blogger/music selector/dj (resident at The Big Romance and Mother’s Library Bar). One of the biggest Róisín Murphy collectors (both digitally and physically) in the world, Shrem makes his debut this Saturday with a night dedicated to the Irish singer/songwriter, producer and fashionista's illustrious catalogue of tunes, now spanning across almost 3 decades of music with some of the most brilliant moments in house, disco and synth-pop of the 21st century so far.
