Lanigans is a traditional Irish gothic style pub , serving superb food all day , with a great atmosphere
Always loved this picture . There was nobody better to sit and talk to than Our Annie . The drink you might have paid for , but the advice was ALWAYS free . (Throwback to the the 10th of May 2018)
Still waiting , just Anticipating that fateful day when all our weird and wonderful creatures get back into Town 👹💀🤡👺🦉 ❤️
Sometimes , Amazing things would happen to people in Lanigans , after eating our Irish stew 💃💃💃💃💃
Very fortunate to have spent this night in with ‘some’ of the Lanigans crew , especially now with some of them not with us anymore . Always so very Grateful for the wonderful customers we had , and hopefully will have , again 🙌
A Huge Thanks to for his incredibly detailed model of Lanigans Pub, complete with coffin, skulls , birdhouses , school desks , and so much more . And thank you for all the continued support from all our lovely customers in keeping the Name Alive

Remembering the Good times : (the first) ST.Patrick’s Day 2019 , (the second) , ST.Patrick’s Day 1996. The first picture in our own custom T-shirts , the second picture is my five sisters and sister-in-law who all worked behind the bar at one time , paddy’s day always a Fantastic day in there ☘️🧤🍀
Big thanks to the awesome lads at Foil Arms and Hog for the shout out 🙏
The first two pictures were taken in 2019, the third, and final picture is from this past Thursday, 2021. The end of an era on Eden Quay as we have regretfully closed Lanigan's and the Clifton Court Hotel. We have fought a long and hard battle for the past year in trying to keep the doors open, but due to the ongoing circumstances, it is just not feasible to keep going.
Myself, Maria and all the staff will always be forever grateful for the friendship, loyalty and support we have received over the past 36 years. There are just too many names to mention with fantastic staff, musicians and customers, but it is down to YOU as the reason we were voted best pub in Dublin, and best pub in Ireland. We were unlike anywhere else, and that’s why it was such a great success.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts, this is not goodbye, just see you all soon. As my good friend would say, “Onwards”.

Shout out to one of the best fancy dress costumes , from a great regular and a great guy , Big tall Brian 🖖🏼🖖🏼🖖🏼
On a very wet Night (exactly like tonight) , I’ll always remember the time it rained so Heavy , that it started to come in through the ceiling , over this particular table . Rather than complain , they just put their umbrellas up , and soldiered on drinking . Singing in the rain indeed ☂ ☔️ ☂️☔️
Always good to get such feedback at this ... thank you for all the shout outs 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone. Here’s a link to our live ballad session with Seán Dixon, please feel free to share with your friends.

As we approach St. Patrick’s Day, a year passes since we, and so many other pubs across Ireland had to close in accordance with public health guidelines. We’d love nothing more than to welcome people from far and near into our pub tomorrow to celebrate our national holiday and the warm hospitality of our city and country. These are tough times, but we’re optimistic for better days to come soon.
Today we got a massive morale boost from the highly talented Lisa Keegan _ who created this amazing sketch of our pub. Thank you so much Lisa, we’re all incredibly grateful here at Lanigans.
We’d wish you all very safe, and happy St. Patrick’s Day, and hope to see you all soon.

Dia daoibh, just a quick reminder that one of our long time entertainers, Seán Dixon, will be performing traditional Irish ballads tomorrow at 7pm.
We hope you all have a great, and safe St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow and look forward to seeing you all again soon! 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪☘️
We’d like to invite all our customers, far and near to our live Facebook ballad session at 7pm on St. Patrick’s Day with Seán Dixon.
We might not be able to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together in person, but we can celebrate together in spirit. We’d love nothing more than to all be together for a singsong, and we’re hopeful we can return to those days in the near future. We hope you can all tune in next Wednesday and raise a glass. Sláinte. 🍻

The same baby after lockdown ended 👶 👴🏻 ⌛️
Always great getting a nice review . Thanks guys .
A big happy birthday to the man himself , . Classic old-school cillian moment: A group of ladies sitting at the Bar counter , as he struts over , with a big grin and goes, ‘So ladies , what part of America are u all from ?’ “BLANCHARDSTOWN” .... they answer in unison .

Great days in LANIGANS part 10: Back in December of 2018 , Our brilliant customers , well and truly in the frame of things . Who would have thought you could have this much craic with a piece of cardboard . 🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸
Great days in LANIGANS: part 9 . Back in October of 2014 , GUINNESS put together a brilliant event across the country for ARTHUR’S DAY. Certain Pubs got to pick from a list of thousands of established bands , and they then would pay them to play at your venue . We chose CROW BLACK CHICKEN , who came down from the north and blew the roof off the pub that night . All the tables had to be removed and we only just managed to squeeze them in - but it only added to the great atmosphere on the night . Check out their song ‘rumble shake’ for an idea of their sound . 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great days in LANIGANS part 8: Back in October of 2013 , Patrick Blount , Master craftsman and designer, made what would be the start of several pieces for the pub . What started out with a life-sized coffin , grew to GIANT-sized phone boxes , popcorns , fairy doors , Map’s of Ireland , and even a miniature bar scene complete with table and benches . All adding to the unique look of LANIGANS PUB . So a big thanks to all those talented people who have donated or made such great pieces for us , Patrick, Eimear , David , Mark , John , the Abbey Theatre and so many more 💀💀💀💀💀
Great days in LANIGANS part 7: Back in October of 2014 , Kevin Brady and John Shiels , and a small group of dedicated fans , breezed through our doors for a BLACKBERRY SMOKE gig , and 7 years later , that same group has grown bigger and better with every passing year . Truly great people lovin’ really great music , Southern rock at its finest. To all our ‘SMOKE’ friends , thanks for all the memories , 🎸🎸🎸.
Great days in Lanigans part 6: June 2015 , and June 2016 , The ‘Cliftonettes’ fronted by the one and only , raised substantial amounts for ST.FRANCiS and the NATIONAL CHILDRENS HOSPITAL at the Dublin women’s marathon . A truly great team for a great cause, well done ladies 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏽♀️
