Two legends of Irish film met at the heart of Irish film last Friday. ⭐

We were delighted to welcome Saoirse Ronan for a Q&A with Sinead Gleeson to discuss her new film, The Outrun - a very special preview screening.

Saoirse also met IFI Board Member Ger Mc Naughton and had a special meeting with the star of An Cailín Ciúin, Catherine Clinch.

Sinn Féin and other loyalist and republican paramilitary groups were forbidden to speak on television or radio.

Róisín Agnew's film THE BAN reflects on the British government’s use of the threat of ‘terrorism’ to justify censorship, drawing inevitable comparisons with the present.
