Yes, and good fun it was too. Especially when you have a wood-fired oven to play with. Discovered - no surprise really - that asparagus pan roasted in the oven with salted Irish butter is pretty spectacular!

Not only is there splendidly creamy gelato from Scup Gelato on the menu (500ml tubs), but there is this, too. Cream cheese panna cotta with rhubarb and honeycomb.

Well folks, it's been quite a week. But after the wonderful Michelin madness on Monday, it's back to the grindstone today - our sister restaurant Osteria Lucio is taking online orders Thur-Sun and this torta caprese makes a return! As usual, lots of wood-fired pizzas and homemade pasta dishes to choose from too.

With our own kitchen and restaurant closed (sadly, not feasible for us to do click and collect), we're focusing on supporting our sister restaurant Osteria Lucio, which re-opened Thursday 21st for delivery, Lucio at Home and Click & Collect! (Thurs-Sun)
Yesterday we brought you the Making of a Margherita - and today the focus is on starters and sides!
There's mortadella meatballs with tomato sauce, polenta fries with aioli, a selection of salumi (choose from small or large portions) and their nduja chicken wings - all very moreish! And then to complete the meal, why not indulge your sweet tooth with a classic tiramisu?
