Our history
The idea for Farmer Browns came from sisters Finnuala & Grace and their passion for locally grown produce, from farm to fork.
The Bath Avenue restaurant started as a small cafe, with a handful of rickety tables, a two ring hob and upcycled vintage furniture. The kitch Café has a unique homely atmosphere in a bustling urban area with creative food using only artisan ingredients from local Irish growers and farmers. Winning Finest Brunch (Lovin Dublin) and many accolades for its delicious burger FB Bath Avenue quickly became the go-to place for brunch, pre-game burger or a cosy dinner with friends.
Farmer Browns opened its doors in Rathmines on St. Patrick's Day 2016 with the same great food and the best sun terrace in town. FB Rathmines won best Family Dining in 2018 (Irish Hospitality Awards) because of its passion for great food, welcoming service and relaxed atmosphere. With fabulous cocktails, fine wine and a wide craft beer selection FB Rathmines is the ideal spot for friends & family to enjoy.
Farmer Browns transitioned into the pub world in 2018 taking over O’Shea’s Pub in Clonskeagh. Bringing back the family pub feeling with hearty food, charming service and of course top notch Guinness. Farmer Browns also welcomed to the team Peter, Finnuala’s husband, born to be a publican! FB Clonskeagh Traditional Irish Pub & Kitchen is ideal for after work drinks, watch the match with friends, any celebration and of course those boozy bottomless brunches. Clonskeagh has a south facing heated terrace, open beer garden, large carpark and is located right on The River Dodder. The perfect place for sunny evenings, cosy winters or to catch all the sports on their 10ft HD projector or 10 HDTVs.
