Despite the heavy snowfall, the group enjoyed;

👨‍💻 Participating in an interactive workshop with our DCU Faculty of Engineering and Computing
📝 Hearing fascinating presentations from our DCU Futures and Autism Friendly teams.

It was a delightful experience having the group on campus, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming more American students to DCU in the future! ✨

DCU & DCU Business School were delighted to host a visit from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE). The delegation was highly impressed by our strong emphasis on industry engagement and entrepreneurship education.

They had the privilege of learning about our innovative DCU Smart City project, presented by project lead Kieran Mahon. Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to visit SEO & Grow, a digital marketing agency founded by two of our business school alumni.

Our guests departed Ireland with warm memories of our colleagues and, of course, our beautiful Irish weather!

It was fantastic to see a great turnout at last week's DCU International Student Welcome Event! 🎉

Students had the opportunity to connect with their peers, enjoy live music performances, and gain valuable insights about life as an international student from DCU alumni.

We hope everyone had a great time at the event and is adjusting smoothly to life in Ireland so far! 🎒

Exciting news from DCU Global! 🌟 Our recently wrapped up a fantastic DCU Pre-Departure session in Beijing. We had the pleasure of providing essential information to our incoming 2023/24 Chinese students, covering everything from visa details and flight information to off-campus housing options.

Huge shout-out to our dedicated representatives, Angie D**g and Hongmei Zhao, who were there to support students attending both in-person and virtually. They answered questions and queries, ensuring a smooth transition into life in Dublin and at DCU. 🌍🏠🎓

Megan Hughes ('24) studied at Dublin City University 🇮🇪 in the fall of 2022, though her decision to go abroad was not as straightforward as it is for most Notre Dame students.

As a member of Army ROTC 🇺🇸 and the Notre Dame Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams 🏃‍♀️ saying "yes" to Dublin meant giving up a carefully crafted balance between 📚 Academics, Athletics, and Army for a wide-open semester free from the routine that characterized her first two years at the University.

Megan reflects on her journey in Ireland ☘️ and how what initially seemed like saying "no" to commitments at Notre Dame transformed into a beautiful "yes” — to Dublin and to a newfound sense of self. Read Megan’s reflection at the link in our bio or stories ⬆️

Tiago Barcelini Canhoto represented for DCU and got a nice time to meet up with school counsellors, partners, students and parents in Brazil last week.

It was really nice to see the high level of engagement with Dublin City University in a whirlwind 10 days of BMI events, school visits and partners meetings. Thanks Brazil! ❤️❤️🇧🇷🇮🇪

Meet Senior International Recruitment Officer, Colleen Griffin, at The Forum on Education Abroad in Seattle, Washington - March 22nd - March 24th.

DCU had the pleasure of welcoming study abroad advisors from the U.S. on-campus to learn more about studying at Dublin City University, student life, clubs and societies, support services, faculties and modules, and finished the day with a tour of campus and student accommodations!

Thank you to AIFS Abroad ! We had a great day sharing all of the unique and special aspects of DCU with the advisors!

DCU was thrilled to host US Counsellors visiting the campus with Education in Ireland.

This fun and engaging group spent the day visiting campus and learning more about Dublin City University's academic programs and meeting current students and faculty. They heard presentations from DCU Futures and DCU Autism Friendly, got to see inside the sensory pods, and even got to play hurling and football with members of the DCU GAA team. The group finished the day with some live music from the DCU Traditional Irish Music Society.

We had a great day showcasing some of the unique and special aspects of DCU with the counsellors!
