🥋IRISH MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY NOW TRAINING FROM Feel Fit Gyms FROM 19TH SEPTEMBER 🥋

To say im really proud of these 4 is a huge understatement to say the least. 7 hrs of intense grading with hrs of pre training and years of training went into securing and earning these black belts.🥋

We dont just hand belts out in this academy they are very hard and well earned from the very first red belt all the way to black and beyond.

I like to think its not just a sport but its a way of life and it should never ever end when you earn the black belt. There are so so many things to learn black belt is truly only the begining 😁😁

Looking forward to seeing all of these as they progress in their martial arts journeys

Looking in someone’s eyes when you are speaking shows confidence. When someone is talking to you, looking in their eyes shows respect. It shows you care about what they are saying. Then on the way home we made a little surprise visit to Irish Martial Arts Kilkenny where our chief instructor enjoyed training with Teri Kruger and her students 🥋

⭐️“I DON’T PAY FOR MARTIAL ARTS “⭐️

From a martial arts parent.....

One of my friends asked "Why do you pay so much money and spend so much time for your daughter to do martial arts?" Well I have a confession to make: I don't pay for Martial arts! I don’t pay for my daughters martial arts lessons. I don't pay for her mitts..... or suits or her competitions.

So, if I am not paying for martial arts , what am I paying for?

- I pay for those moments when my daughter becomes so tired she feels like quitting but doesn't.

- I pay for the opportunity that my daughter can have and will have to make life-long friendships.

- I pay for the chance that she may have amazing instructors that will teach her that martial arts is not just about movement but about life.

- I pay for my daughter to learn to be disciplined.

- I pay for my daughter to learn to take care of herself.

- I pay for my daughter to learn to work with others and to be a proud, supportive, kind and respectful student.

- I pay for my daughter to learn to deal with disappointment, when she doesn't get that score she hoped for, or fell during a move she has practiced a thousand times, but she still gets up and is determined to do her BEST next time...

- I pay for my daughter to learn to make and accomplish goals.

- I pay for my daughter to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.

I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for martial arts; I pay for the opportunities that martial arts provides my child to develop attributes that will serve her well throughout her life and give her the opportunity to bless the lives of others.

From what I have seen for many, many years, I think it is a great investment!

We are so excited about this event tomorrow!

The support from everyone has been amazing!

We would really love of everyone could come down and continue to show that support tomorrow at St.Kevins Community centre in Philipstown

Raising money for Breast and Cervical Cancer wards and services in the Louth and Lourdes hospitals two local hospitals doing amazing work to support women through some of the toughest times in their lives!

Almost everyone at some stage in there life has been effected by this desease in one way or another so let's all take a few hours out tomorrow to come together and raise some much needed funds!

We will be bouncing for 6 hours but would love if u could join us for an hour or even half hour of your day to make this event a great success

There wil be plenty there including
Raffle- with really awesome prizes
Bake sale- with some really nice treats

And of course some really awesome bouncing, great laughs and get fun!
